Steam keeps crashing with no reason. Do something, please. :(

Last three updates of big picture = killing main Steam client. Stop doing this! Roll back and write some code to not affect main client!

I crashed a great deal and had to revert out of the beta. Revert until the next beta update.

I mentioned this in the comments several times but I've found the solution with Big Picture rendering @ 720p when in 1080p resolution and/or windows thus rendering incorrectly. It's related to text scaling being set @ 150%. You will need to account for this as it's somewhat neccesary on a TV at 10 feet, in Windows 7/Vista/XP anyway. You may not have seen this much in beta but will likely hit it once rolled out of the steam userbase.

I know it's probably not the highest priority but can we PLEASE improve the look of the notification box and add a Steam unique tinkle for the achievement. Would actually be awesome and very unique if you could allow a customisable sample but it would require a default tinkle anyway.

With the notification box -
Can you please add the graduated grey background like in the desktop box.
I'm not sure if that's the same font as the desktop notification but I reckon it looks plain ugly at the size it is. Maybe Century Gothic or the very least the same font as per the desktop if it isn't the same font.
Hopefully a new font would fix the issue of the text constantly being clipped too but if not this would be the other thing in need of a fix
