TDC Reunion!

It's been 6 years since we first gave birth to this group. We've seen some good times and some shitty ones I think we'll all agree. But along the way we've made lasting friendships, created some great memories, and for many of you, literally grown up into adulthood alongside it.

In the time since the server's closing in 2013, I've had the occasional message (as has DarkShadow) over the last couple of years for us to either bring back the server or to host some sort of reunion.

Unfortunately we can't bring everything back. Many of us have moved on from Team Fortress 2 and it just wouldn't be a viable thing to happen.

So I guess that leaves us with only one option, doesn't it?

For a short time only The Dalokohs Club's original server, restored from a 2013 backup (found on a dusty old external hard drive), will be up and running over the holidays!

Keep in mind this is only temporary affair due to several users requesting this both in Steam chat (to DarkShadow and myself), and in the comments below for this Steam group.

I can't say when it will go down again, so make the most of it!

That out of the way, go have fun, meet up with old friends and as always, play awesomely and be awesome, yeah!

Classic Description

The Dalokohs Club is a six year old gaming community originally based around Team Fortress 2.
We enjoy socializing on our forum, hanging out on our Ventrilo, and of course, playing games.

The fun doesn't stop at our servers though!
We like to group up and play non-TDC games, watch movies, and play web games together too!

Our main goal here at TDC is to ensure that you can use this community to gain memorable experiences with new friends, and that you'll look beyond the guise of our branding and branch out into our community as a whole.

Basically put, if you play at TDC for just one day and find a friend, then never play here again,
we feel we have done our job.

What if the concept of memes being at all funny, is itself, a dead meme? And I'm not talking about nonsensical memes that have zero context or logic, I mean the trend of making a meme, declaring it dead or unfunny and then demanding a new meme at the start of the next week? Making memes has become a meme. And rapidly, the meme of making memes will become unfunny. Not sure what the replacement is, but currently it's kind of like someone asking someone else to make them laugh like on the spot. It doesn't work.
