DayZRP.com - role playing DayZ server

DayZRP.com server is private DayZ server focused on cooperation, group combat, increasing the player interaction and roleplaying. We are a medium sized community that loves DayZ but is either bored with the standard gameplay on public servers or seeks roleplaying experience in the post apocalyptic world of DayZ. DayZRP has multiple rules about gameplay including a "no Kill on Sight" rule, which means that you have to interact with the other player before taking a hostile action.

Thanks to a whitelisted server and a frequent database backup you no longer have to worry about hackers. Our admins do their best to stop cheaters, deathmatching and will punish players that use exploits like disconnecting in combat.

We are striving to create an unique DayZ experience and go back to the atmosphere of the first days after the DayZ was released.This is how DayZ was meant to be played - as a cooperative zombie survival.

DayZ patch 0.62 is out!

Hello all members,

We will be using the Steam group more from now on, since it reaches out more easily to our members than updates sent by social media like Twitter or Facebook. Every DayZRP member must have Steam and use it in order to play DayZ so this is the perfect way to keep you updates about changes and information in regards to out community.

But now, to the main reason for this announcement - we are happy to inform you that a new stable patch for DayZ has been released!

DayZ patch 0.62

New tree models
Denser forests
New clutter (grass, small plants)
New surface textures - plains and such
Improved wind behavior
New shader for the wind, affecting trees and grass
Tweaked and changed lighting for the world
Small improvements to satellite textures
Rain affected by wind and refinement of its behavior in general
Many reworked locations on Chernarus
Reworked ghillie (to be consistent with new tech)
Small bugfixes to some issues from 0.61
New ambient sounds

As always, the new patch means a full wipe on all servers, so this is a great time to start playing again as everyone is starting fresh!
