Just a bunch of guys that have one thing in common, a love for newts! - These are the words of our forefathers, the founders of the original DeezNewts2K16. These words may not seem like much, but they have a deep meaning to us, the newt lovers of 2K16 and beyond. Our journey began early in 2016. Our founders created this group as a joke, with no knowledge of what this group would one day become. Despite our humble beginnings, we grew into something great, and when 2K16 came to and end, we simply couldn't let our group die, it just didn't seem right. We had to continue growing, we had to carry on our legacy, the world needed us more than we needed them. Now, with our love for newts driving us forward unto greater things, we continue that legacy established so long ago, during that fateful (though quite boring) CS:GO match. We hope that you will be inspired by our story, and choose to join us on our journey to become the largest newts in the land!

DeezNewts 2.0 is full of great people, but there are tons of groups out there full of great people, so why join DeezNewts? Well first of all, if you didn't read our inspiring story written above, we would highly encourage you to do so. This story has insipired many to join us. We have many members who were also hesitant to join our group, but if you were to ask those members if they regret that decision, we are confident that they would tell you no without hesitation. DeezNewts 2.0 is a place for all newt lovers.

As our founders have said, we are "just a bunch of guys who have one thing in common, a love for newts!" But we are much more than that, we are a community. Sure, we all do have a love for newts, but we aren't just a bunch of guys, we are family. This is a place you can come to make new friends. Many of us may spend most of our time playing games because we don't have real lives, but that's ok. If you're one of those people, this is a place for you. Games are meant to be played with friends, and that's who we are. Maybe you don't fit into that category. Maybe you don't have a lot of time for games because of your real life, and we understand that, but we also know that you will still need a friend to play with when you do have time, and that's who we are. Our group rose from our love for newts, but we are so much more. Join us as we continue our incredible journey, and become one of us, and one day, we will rule the world!
