"Because Games Matter"

James has finally decided to make a fund for publishing indie games out of the excess money made by the RocketHub donations.

He had previously tweeted that he wanted to announce the new plans within two hours, and decided to use the EC RocketHub project blog to announce it.

On Facebook, he then announced that the surplus money after Allison's expenses would need to exceed $50,000 to work, so he trusts EC Nation to donate more.

Hey there, my name is Idioglossia and I'm probably your best friend you've never met. Now, this group was founded a week or so ago and we have had a massive income of members since the time this group was inducted, so here's a thanks from me and the group administrator J*Rod for joining the group and supporting the wonderful article of which is Extra Credits.

4 days ago, Allison found out that she needed major shoulder surgery if she can continue to do art. With most of the crew's spare funds going toward the show itself, EC needs about $15,000 to raise toward the surgery to help continue the show.

The goal of $15,000 has now already been reached, and the funds are actually 4.5 times higher than the goal. But the deadline is still 58 days away, so EC is still taking more funds.
