for UNCUT! is a project founded in 2009 that provides information on censorship and geo-blocking in regards to video games, focused on Germany. In addition to providing detailed information about media regulation systems, for UNCUT! leads an open dialogue – especially in regards to the moral panic about video game violence known in Germany as the "Killerspiel-Debatte".

We call for the end of excessive censorship, blacklisting, banning, and geo-blocking which also affects adults and has no robust basis in science. In our opinion, providing content information and furthering media literacy is preferable to hopelessly outdated and even counterproductive politics based on bans.

We publish articles, providing an English summary on Steam. We also offer a Steam curator, the threads in our dedicated curator sub forum being bilingual. A quick overview of informative threads in our forum is available here.
