ABOUT GlobalStrafe

GLOBAL STRAFE COMMUNITY

Initially established in late April of 2017, formerly known as Devils Playground.

GlobalStrafe was shut down on Saturday 25th May 2019 at Midnight. Started up in late April of 2017 GlobalStrafe had many Staff members, over 93k unique players and with deville creating the community from DPG the reputation of the community was very quickly transferred and the well maintained servers continued to be developed by deville himself with xanx there to develop the website and forums.

After Qumumba obtained the Manager rank in November of 2018, deville made the decision to hand over the community on Tuesday 26th February 2019 to Qumumba as deville needed a well deserved break and time to himself. Xanx left the Staff team in early May to do much the same as he also had been with GlobalStrafe from the beginning and wanted to go on to do bigger and better things.

The history of GlobalStrafe is hard to boil down into a few short sentences but if you were a regular member and/or previous Staff member you will know so, GlobalStrafe will always been a big part of the various CS:GO scenes but will also leave a positive mark in the lives of those part of it.

Greetings JoinByte members!

In case you missed out on the news: We have today released our public ChaseMod (HNS) Server!

I believe I speak for both myself & xanx when I say that it's been a great first day of launch. It truly feels like months of planning, some pre-development and work is starting to show great result. The last couple of days have been spent mostly on fixing bugs, optimizing plugins, adding features and planning for the future state of JoinByte according to our shared vision.
In other words; it's been great.

The same pattern has repeated itself when speaking of this day when we launched the ChaseMod HNS server. We want to thank the community for their great efforts of spotting bugs and reporting them to us, as well as suggesting improvements for the community. We truly feel that with your help, we have now improved the quality standard of our servers & community. I hope to see us continue that co-operation so we'll be able to continously provide a better experience.

JoinByte - Jumpstats Training Map

Our beloved xanx have started to establish a beautifully themed map, with original map features created by Papa Jayzer, who have just released an alpha version of what is soon to be fully developed, our own JoinByte jumpstats map. It will come with the release of our upcoming JumpStats Training server launch. Once finished, it will offer a wide variety of features for you to enjoy and use for practicing of your movement skills. Carefully designed from a little vision that I initially started to construct in my head.

The reason for this message is that the workshop file from this map, presented by xanx has gained a lot of popularity in an astonishing rate. It's on the first page of CS:GO workshop - Most popular, one week section! That itself earns a solid clap, +react to do so! Great job xanx & Papa Jayzer!

I shouldn't forget to inform you that the map currently has over 440+ subscribers!
