Adding an Event

If you add an event every member of the group will get a notification when your event starts. Be sure to include the following:

[Host]
[IP/Bandwitdth]
[Max # of Players]
[Time Starting] (In GMT/UTC please)

Ex:

[Host] Mcfluffles
[IP/Bandwitdth] xxx.xxx.xxx | 1024
[Max # of Players] 8
[Time Starting] 1900 UTC

If you are looking to join an event, send the host a message on Steam asking if you can join/a slot is free :) You can also use the discussions to organize events.

Some Hosting Do's and Don'ts

1. Host should be last out of 3D, else there will be issues.
2. Host should have bandwidth set to the sum of all players; 5 players connecting at 1024 should have the host at 5120.
3. Host's flight should probably be first into 3D world too.


A Few General Helpful Tips

1. Let package lead deal with waypoints unless otherwise specified
2. Let Flight leads plan loadout, unless otherwise specified. Just stay out of the loadout unless asked, you can check your loadout via briefing.
3. Do an IVC check (if using IVC) at the 2D Screen using F1 and F2 to ensure it is working before you join 3D.
4. Make sure you retype the IP into the IVC Server box or it will not connect!
