BG3 Steam Remote Play Together: No Input From 2nd Controller
ISSUE
While attempting to remote play Baldur's Gate 3 together, controller #2 has no input while still being recognized as a controller. I am on Steam Deck and he is on PC using an Xbox controller.

OS
Steam OS (steam deck) and Windows 11

STEPS
Open Baldur's Gate 3
Press "..." button to open steam menu
Open remote play tab
Press "invite friend" button
Select friend to invite and send invite
Friend accepts invite and joins session
(On Opening screen) Baldur's Gate 3 recognizes multiple controller inputs and asks for one to press "A" button to start split screen.

RESULTS
No button inputs are accepted from the second controller (either from friend's controller or steam deck when swapped in steam remote play menu)

EXPECTED
Second player presses "A" and split screen begins allowing us to play couch co-op BG3

Oops! This is meant for the bug reports! Sorry! Sorry! Sorry!
Did you every get a solution to this, mate? Having the same issue. I'm assuming it's because steam deck controls are seen as keyboard and mouse in the code rather then a controller.

is steam input enabled for the game?

it is required for remote play controllers to work
also check the remote controllers mappings, be sure its configured to default xbox
