As the title suggests, ambient audio mods have been updated to support the new audio format that previously broke them. That is all.

Hello to all those listening. Looking to fill any interested parties in on the latest happenings with the site.

To start, we have changed server providers to one that is more appropriate for our needs. While it was fun having a dedicated server offering room for growth, it is apparent that won't be happening.

You will notice that ads are no longer running if you didn't use adblock on the site. After around two months of use, we only generated $26.26 CAD (approx $21.81 USD) with 69,968 pages viewed with ads over that period. That amount is not worth the aggravation ads bring. Though, it was neat to experience AdSense first hand.

Additionally you will notice the forums and TF2 server have been removed. Nobody used them. They were mistakes for various reasons and handled improperly. So they have been shut down and we are taking the loss.

The ambient audio mod updates have been good and ready to go for the last month. Unfortunately I don't have the ability to update them without losing some related data such as the download counts which we'd prefer to keep. I hope for them to be up soon.

The only way to submit mods now is through email. Not that we get many submissions nowadays but it is worth noting.

What is there for happy news you ask? You can find the vocal only audio kept up to date on our resource materials page under tutorials. That's about the happiest any of this news gets.

Personally I am doing well. I hope everyone else is. Even though the site's seen better days of content.

Hello again. Great news, not really, Valve updated the ambient audio files to use mp3 instead of wav resulting in another round of broken mods. Much like the voice over mods that have been fixed, the ambient mods will be updated in due time.

Just a heads up that all mods that make use of a voice over file is likely to be broken due to Valve changing all the files from WAVs to MP3s. Fixes for this issue will be rolled out when time is available.
