ABOUT Nuke and Pave Gaming

The premier PvP guild in online gaming... Love us. Hate us. All that matters is you know who we are.

Charter

* Nuke and Pave is not a traditional guild. It is a worldwide community of friends and gamers. As such, Nuke's only rule is: No Drama. The guild itself doesn't attempt to dictate the playstyle of its members.
* Nuke is a community. It is a springboard for individual advancement and achievement. And those who contribute the the betterment of the guild find themselves advancing higher than they could imagine alone.
* Nuke is not a PvP guild. Instead, the guild itself is casual, and we focus our pvpers into tactical groups who can establish their own regimens and schedules, like mini-guilds. It has allowed us to field a serious pvp presence over the years, without the threat of guild burnout from our most hardcore players.
* Our officers are veteran players, and each game's GM is a proven legend in their own right. Nuke is under its original leadership, because Tajah still believes there is much to accomplish.
* If you're not growing, you're dying. Nuke is still going strong, and still growing despite all the obstacles which have obliterated most of our peers. Nuke is a rock that's going to be standing for a long time. If you're a guild-jumper, you're looking in the wrong place. Nuke is a home. A home where many of online gaming's finest players have opened the door and never thought about leaving.

History

In 1997, a group of friends who played Diablo decided to try a new game called Ultima Online. In that initial MMO, they became pirates, thieves, murderers, and loved every minute of it. They also met a few like-minded people, and formed two organizations. Gods of Masturbation was their first guild... and one of the members had recently created a website called EYIF, later officially named Innerfilth.com.

After everyone became bored with UO, they kept in touch using the Innerfilth forums, despite being spread across the dozens of MMOs which began to flood the market. From time to time, a few of them would start a guild together on a game, which never really exceeded more than 25 members.

Tajah experiemented during this time with running "hardcore" pvp guilds, all of which seemed to implode. They were powerful. They won plenty of battles. But none of the members could stand each other. The others tried building "casual" guilds, which eventually folded simply because nothing was ever accomplished.

When Star Wars Galaxies was announced, the original group of friends decided to give a serious attempt at creating what they considered a viable, successful guild. So in June 2003, the group signed into SWG, and in early July, Nuke and Pave became reality.

Since that time, Nuke has grown to well over 300 members, encompassing several games, still including Star Wars Galaxies, Pirates of the Burning Sea, and during Fall of 2008, EA Mythic's long-awaited Warhammer:Age of Reckoning.
