Greetings players of the Minisiege!
Minisiege was opened on 11th November 2014... I never thought I would have the opportunity to ever say... All those years ago I decided to take the helm of the server over in 2017, from humble player to community manager... It is with great pleasure that I get to announce this; our 10 year anniversary of opening the server is tomorrow! 🎂 🎆

I will take this opportunity to thank a few people who have kept the server running over the years at a high level, please do not be offended if you are not on this list:
@HighLord For his monetary involvement in keeping the server running for all of these years
@Cæsim For his continued scripting and server support
@Bethrezen For his continued commitment to the admin team and handling most problems

To celebrate this momentous occasion, we will be hosting a few things on the server tonight at 8pm UK time, as with tomorrow being a weekday, it is better this way. @Sam Has finished a new map for us to play too, titled "Ten Autumns Castle", a Japanese themed castle. We will also be providing the opportunity for all to get a 10 year anniversary skin in-game for a limited time, information to follow.

Minisiege Update 18/6/24
Greetings minimum wage siegers. On this fine Tuesday evening I come baring gifts of updates to our maps. Please find below the change logs (all not credited are my work):

⛪ Custom map 9 (Church):
Changed flag location to the middle
Fixed some janky props
Widened walk ways
Fixed rear exit

Custom map 13 (Forest Outpost):
Renamed to "Renegades Retreat" to avoid confliction with another map with similar name
Fixed some floating props
Removed some of the obscene volume of artillery on the map

🏝️ Custom map 19 (Island Town):
Renamed to "Corsair Cove"
Fixed an absolute metric ton of floating props and clipping props
Fleshed out the parts of the fort not used, poor design corrected
Fixed front gate, was too small
Deleted roof access & corrected the unintentional siege ladders with wrong VAR numbers
Added siege ladder to front to gain extra entrance
Removed invisible barriers
Made the rear entrance more intuitive and intentional;
Moved all spawns for both teams
Fixed attacker cannon, added 2 naval cannons instead
Added another entrance to fort
Added molotovs and grenades
Easter egg fixed

🌞 Custom map 55 (Zulu 2.0):
Fixed Defender spawn door bug
Attacker BP set to 0 initially; will be regained by destroying the defenders many props
The TOWER has returned from the original version
Rejigged defensive structure inside to match wall

👁️ Custom map 71 (Minas Tirith) - Credit to Newton:
Fixed Defender spawn
Added 3 arty
Added molotovs
Added healing points

🏰 Custom map 72 (Fort Murat) - Credit to Newton:
Fixed Defender spawn
Added more arty
Added healing points

Custom map 69 (Olympus Ruins) - Credit to Ryan:
New map, see attached picture (snowy mountain one)

General
Changed the required players for polling on most maps to be lower than they currently are

Custom maps 78 to 82 and siege of toulon (night) have been removed from the server until further notice, many of these maps were 100+ player caps with the exception of one being admin only pollable, so you likely haven't played them in the last year or so, but just incase any of them were your favourites, there's a heads up!

There has been a disagreement with the map maker that makes them no longer desires there use on our server, I respect the map makers wishes so will disable there usage; despite prior agreement and permissions to use.

Greetings everyone,

It has been a while since we had an update for EU_ Commander. Today, we are here with some big news.

1. Bot facing - yes, your eyes don't deceive you. EU_Commander has bot facing now! You can make your bots turn to whatever angle and side you are facing. Let me clarify though. They will still aim at the closest enemy, but their positioning will totally be dependent on your choice. Aiming at other targets, not the closest one would most likely result in serious lag and performance issues. So that is out of the picture. For now, this only works in 1 row. To access this feature, press V, and then 7, and bots will position relative to where your character is looking. Note: this order will nullify the next order you give, so if you want to move the line again, just issue order twice. (for instance press F1 F1 twice to move)

2. Medic Squad and General Staff - Players can pick medic squad or general staff from the same V menu. Once you die next time, you will spawn as the one you chose.
- Medics and General staff are small units, but they provide certain benefits. Player controlling the medic squad can heal their teammates and their bots. Note that only player can do the healing, your squad is there to have replacements if you die, so you could continue healing.
- General Staff can be used to organize teammates. You can use beacon on your general staff to help other people see where they are and pull back if needed.

3. Bot Takeover - when player leaves or goes to spectator, another player will take over their bots. This is very useful for people who picked the unit and didn't spawn on time because game allows them to join the round if someone else leaves. If everyone is spawned and someone leaves.

Hello everyone, my colleagues and i are going to organize an remembering gathering tonight in about an hour from now (20:30 CET).
The reason is that our former Head Admin Black Knight (Bojan) that has passed away on the 27th of November 2020 we want to remember him this way as it was a great aspect from him to play some EU Commander battle.

It will include Commander Battle gameplay with us were we can share and talk our thoughts of BK and with some competitive gameplay and a special map i'll recon it will be a night to remember.
It will commence in one of our EUC voice channels on Discord were we all meet up and then start going towards the EU Commander server. Beir in mind that there can only be 50 players on our server so try to be on time.
