A total game re-creation in GMOD

PAYDAY 2 GMOD is a complete recreation of, well, Payday 2 in Garry's Mod.

As a team of four, we're all working every day to complete it as fast as possible.

Our team consists of a coder, two mappers, and one modeler. We're always looking to invite more people on board with us, mainly with the modeling aspect of the game.

On our first alpha release, Jewelry Store and GO Bank will be the first maps available, aside from all the menus.

Along with all of the main content of the game, we will add custom content, such as masks, equipment, and even maps.

The game will be totally free to play, but donator content will be available, such as donator-only masks and more.

For high level people, an entirely different CRIME.NET will be available to them. There, they will be able to access exclusive high-level maps, where they can either stealth, or go loud, without the worry of a low level interfering.

Many more features are available, and announcements and updates every Sunday will be made about our progress. Stay tuned!

Hi all,

Exciting news! I made a lot of progress mainly web-wise, but in game too.

This will house all DLCs, donation store, etc. There's an "enter donation amount" type text field to enter any amount.

Update #6 - TL;DR

Hi all,

I pondered and came to the conclusion about community participation. I think that a lot of people today need the simplified versions of text, and won't other wise read it.

Because of that, I don't think a lot of you guys have actually been reading the announcements at all. Well, that'll change. For now on, I'll make TL;DR announcements with easy bullet point info.
Sorry about not posting announcements, been busy. I by no means have stopped working on the project, and will continue to work.

Ok, TL;DR time

Stealth will be a main focus in the game, more than loud. It'll work really well, and more fun than going loud. That'll still be allowed by all means, just not as encouraged as stealth
Website is 90% done, it'll include a contribution/reward system for donations.
