Report a translation problem
Before I begin, I think the best thing you could do is make localization possible so that people can write their own translations for different languages. I realize that may be a lot of work, but that would be the best solution since then it could be made available in multiple languages.
Options:
*Buff Page (AE: applied @ r153)
-Change "Ignore" to "Hide" for every option (or even better, make it show and the default checked)
-Change "Ignore Interact" to "Hide Shout Cooldown" [AE: not applied yet, will see workaround]
-Change "Simple Busy" to "Small Busy Indicator"
-tooltip to explain this occurs while reloading etc
-Change "Align" to "Justify"
-Change "Origin Left" to "X Position" (tool tip saying percent from left of screen)
-Change "Origin Right" to "Y Position" (tool tip saying percent from top of screen)
-Change "Simple busy radius" to "Small Busy Size"
-Change "Size" to "Buff Size"
*Chat Page (AE: applied @ r154)
-Change the distinctions (this one is tough)
Never < Read Only < SendServer < SendFullClient < SendDropInClient < Always
should be something like
"Who should see when these events happen?"
No One < Only me < Everyone if I am host < Everyone if I have attended the entire match < Everyone, unless someone else says it < Everyone, always
Those are really too long to put into each setting, so this is what I recommend as an alternative
Label it as "Alert Level" then have a key as to what the alert level means. For example:
options 0-5
0) No one
1) Only me
2) Everyone if I am host
3) Everyone if I have attended the entire match
4) Everyone, unless someone else says it
5) Everyone, always
Then each option would simply have a 0-5 selection.
*Float Page (AE: applied @ r155)
-Change "Border" to "Frame" or "Background"
-Change "Minion" to "Converted Enemy"
-Change "Unit" to "Enemy Health" (I have not really tested to see what this one is yet, I hope I got it right)
*Game Page (AE: applied @ r155)
-Change "Kick Menu Rank" to "Show Rank in Kick Menu"
*Player Bottom (AE: applied @ r155)
-Change "Show Minion" to "Show Converted Enemy"
***Off topic, but I believe ping should be defaulted to always
*Popup (AE: applied @ r155)
-Change "AIDAMAGE" to "AI Damage"
*Root (AE: applied @ r155)
-Change "Verbose" to either "Expanded" or "Detailed"
Zenyr, keep in mind that most of your English was correct I just think this rewording would make it more clear. Some things in the configuration menu are somewhat complicated concepts, so even with the best English translation people still will not understand because they don't understand the function itself.
By the way, I will be delaying the recording/release of the configuration video until your verbiage changes are done, so that the video will be accurate when released.
In my experience this is caused by people using smart phones. On occasion my Galaxy S5's predictive text will start capitalizing every word, and if I'm in a hurry I might not care to fix it.
Current: Hit indicator and popup labels
Suggested: Replace hit indicator with damage arc, and popup labels with damage indicators or damage counters. I don't think there is a proper name for these, but for me, these suggested names make more sense. Also, I suggest putting them next to each other, because they are similar categories.
(AE: applied @ r379)
Where: Hud3_class.lua;379 "hold_download_keys = 'Encryption Keys'", -- Hoxton Breakout
Suggestion: Either change Keys –> Key or just remove so it would not stand "An Encryption Keys" in the broadcast (preffered).
The problem is just that it stand "An" infront when it's about several encryption keys
