And we're collabor adverti showcasing Maxi's indepen mod which Re-textures the game to make it a bit more.. aesthetically pleasing. It also gives you a different wall to look at whilst you wait for the drill/timelock/another-skinned timer to finish. Plus for us vets it's nice to have a new look on a game we've been playing for so long. So yeah... that's my horrible pitch for the mod. I dunno, go look at it yourself? Not to undermine ninja crouton's avatar contest (that's still under way and you're all more than welcome to submit another replacement if you have one better than mine, which took me all of five minutes to make), but I figured, if people want, I can use the avatar I made at least as a temporary replacement.

It definitely makes us look like we are associated with PD2. We certainly were at first, but that was a long time ago. In light of our newest venture to move away from focusing solely on PD2 (crimefest specifically), I decided it was about time to make a new picture. What better way to create a community for its members than to make this a community event?

So here's how it goes.

You guys submit your ideas. Make sure they stay within the Steam TOS obviously (I don't want to have to deal with Steam getting mad at me), but anything goes. Then, we decide on our favourite one, and that one gets to be our new picture.

Submission rules: Make sure it is the correct size (184x184 pixels I do believe, someone correct me if I am wrong). Post a link to it (imgur preferred, but also steam artwork links or some other image sharing site works fine) in the comments on this announcement. After a while (a few weeks or something? I dunno, I'll tell you guys when there are a few days left), I'll try to set up a poll thingy to let you guys vote on your favorite one. The one that wins, gets to be the one making our new photo. One submission per person please!

I'm gonna sit this one out, but since the voting is going to be all you guys (instead of just the mods choosing their favorite), I think the other mods are well within their rights to post their ideas.
