Hey, guys. Hope everyone is doing well. It’s been a while since the last Minecraft server update, Unfortunately, I’ve been too busy to plan out a fun Halloween event, so at the very least, we will have a Christmas party sometime in early December. As far as server updates go, I know I owe you some promised additions. I’ll try to sneak in some work as I get through my university days. Anyway, in the meantime, we aim to do Game Nights every Friday, so hop on those if you’d like to converse with the other WDZ members. See you then!

Next Minecraft event, as teased by the parkour game during the Olympics, is the dreaded Wizard Tower! Built by our regular Oblivic, this is a multi-leveled tower with many twists and turns that you must endure as you navigate your way to the top. This obstacle is quite lengthy and will require quick wits and determination. The Wizard Tower parkour event will take place on August 31st! See you all there.

Every Friday night at 7pm PST, we will be having WDZ Game Nights where we group up on discord voice chat and play some fun party games. Feel free to join in.

Good news, Minecraft folks, I rented out a nice place for the games to take place.

We have exactly one week until the WDZ Summer Olympics, and unlike the real thing this event will not take weeks to complete. Nevertheless, it will be the BIGGEST event we have ever had, content-wise. Yes, it will be long, clocking in at about three hours. That being said, players are not obligated to stick it out throughout the entire event once they join. We only ask that you refrain from leaving during an active game. Latecomers are welcome to join.

Now, the games. We have seven mini-games lined up for you to take part in, starting simple and growing more complex as we go on. Within each separate game, every player will have a chance to get placed in the top three spots: copper, iron, and gold, each of which will grant a cash prize. It is very possible for a contestant to earn gold in every game, thus earning the highest cash prize.

There is a risk of death within the games, so please do not bring any items with you. Take this time to sort out your affairs and store your items in a safe place. Also, each person is allowed two free teleports by yours truly, one to the event and one back to your base. Just save your coords.

I will reveal each game per day leading up to the main event on discord. Stay tuned.

Alright, players. This is it. The event that will ultimately determine your physical prowess and capabilities within the world of Minecraft. This is the official Weekdayz Summer Olympics.

You know how the real world Olympics that will go down this year? Yeah, that is nothing compared to the Minecraft version. This is the one that matters. We've got a good selection of challenges for you competitors. Naturally, this will be a free-for-all event with three ranks to achieve. Copper, iron, and gold. Reach for the gold medal, and you will earn the respect of everyone here, especially GoldenLink.

The WDZ Summer Olympics 2024 will take place on August 3rd, 2024 at 5pm PST. We've got about a month until then, so be sure to work out and don your very own Olympic sportswear for the event. I can whip out a design for anyone who needs help with making an appropriate outfit.
