Regarding the HK riots, if the US had been dealing with rioters throwing molotov cocktails at the police, knocking their teeth out, stabbing them in the necks, throwing acid at them, burning down shops, beating women in the streets, lighting people on fire and killing people with bricks, all while the Communist Party of China officials flew in from Beijing to meet with and praise these "protesters", plus to top it off you had an American protest leader flying over to Beijing to testify in front of the National Peoples Congress, asking for support and talking about containing America, but the US had no national security laws or sufficient legal mechanisms to put a stop to these acts of terror, what would the good ol' US of A do?
