Might be over said, but Aizer is such a well written character, like he's not just a villain with some kind of basic human flaw, hes a deeply troubled person, haunted by a past and attached to what small remnants of reality he can cling to, and smart enough to articulate it in a way that shows that it isn't some shallow misunderstanding, but instead tied directly to not only his own humanity, but humanity as a whole, through a struggle we understand even if we haven't quite experienced it
