I didn't really played much previous God Eater games. I just saw that brought and played. I have more than 50 h game play now.

Game is Monter Hunter like and comparations;

Pros
- Maps are not so big like in MH. They are fairly enough for the hunt.
- Melee skill is up-gradable (by usage)
- You can optimize your build with craft able items.
- Less grindy (but still)

Natural
- Big Weapon tree (same as MHW)

I can only say as cons co - op region lock. But you can still set your steam download location for same place and enjoy the co-op :)

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine is a third person hack-and-slash set in the beloved Warhammer 40k sci-fi universe. It's a worthy addition to the RTS video games that the franchise is known for. The gameplay is simple and intuitive with easy to control shooting and sword fighting mechanics. The game is linear but not to it's own detriment. It uses the linearity to create a unique action game that puts you right into the boots of a Warhammer Space Marine fighting against the legions of Orks.
The campaign is fairly short, and it has it's quirks some of which can become quite grating as the game progresses. A part from that the game truly delivers in all other fashions that an action game and more importantly a Warhammer game should. Brutal action, satisfying kill animations, and a fairly well developed multi-player experience really makes the game the complete package. It's game that's worth playing, and it's unfortunate that it got overlooked by many people.
The multiplayer with its coop wave based game mode titled "Exterminatus" is one hell of fun experience that will give you many hours of fun.

If you are looking for a complex WW2 strategic simulator this is your game! The game takes place between 1936 and 1948 and you can control any nation during this period and attempt to forge an empire whilst the world is at war. The complexity of the productive, technological and combat system is very high. The logistic system, especially,is more important and more detailed than in many other games. These all work to the game's advantage, since they make for a very good experience for players that want to deal with things complex and not just "produce units and rush". Terrain, weather, organization,morale, how many officers you have, who's in charge of what division/corps etc, means a lot in this game, and this will probably please more experience players looking for a challenge.

And of course like other Paradox games, it has a a bit long learning curve.
