Two Hours In: Eh, it's kinda fun, but I don't really see why people are going so crazy about it

100 hours later:

GAN GAN KAZEGUZE!!!

Pros:

+ Very fun open world sandbox game with a decently satisfying combat system (albeit with a lot of you getting knocked on your ass at first and having to mash the "get up" button while you're still learning what not to do).
+ The minigames are genuinely entertaining as well, and for the most part entirely optional too!
+ Story is pretty good as well! Everyone puts in a really stellar vocal performance, even if I can't understand a word they are saying
+ Has Majima

Cons:
- It ends eventually :(

9/10, easy recommendation!

Early Access Review
This game is genuinely really stellar, even in it's (currently) incomplete state. It's a blast with friends or solo!

Pros:

+ The weapons are engaging and fun to learn, use, and eventually master. Very similar to Hades' different Infernal/Nocturnal Arms, with bonus slight variations of each weapon to discover and use as well!

+ The powerups (while currently not too high in abundance) are wonderful and allow for a lot of fun and interesting strategies and synergies in the vein of any great roguelike game.

+ The artstyle is extremely cute <3

+ The characters, while currently lacking in having much extra dialogue, are fun to interact with for the short amount of things to say they do provide. I wanna give Flitt a hug! (And you can tell him I said that!)

Cons:

- I wish there was more! I'm excited!!

7.5/10, easily with the potential to be a 10/10 when fully completed :)

TL;DR Honestly, not bad.

It's basically got a lot of the same goofy cheesy gadget and environmentally focused gunplay design as Rainbow Six Siege, but with a movement twist and a lot of interesting unique play and counterplay potential. The game is definitely annoying at points, but it's not so annoying that you'd wanna stop playing. The fun I had for the most part overrode the rougher moments.

It's a good free-to-play title, although if you have sensory aversions to things like bright lights, proceed with caution. I couldn't find any way to tone down a lot of the highly saturated UI elements or gadget/grenade effects, and those may cause nausea or discomfort in some like they do for me.

It's not a bad way to kill a half hour or three here and there with a good friend or group of friends. Just avoid ranked, it's min-maxed to all hell.

First round of the very first game I played, was spectated for all of 30 seconds before I was told to uninstall.

8/10, would get shot in the head by a guy hiding behind a kitchen pot again

It's a really cute ice-breaker style game, a good tool to get conversations going if you're not really all that great at finding the right things to say/ask.

With that being said, you do need a friend (or multiple friends) who is/are into actually talking about themselves. This is a game that is only fun if your company is willing to be real and open up about things.

I felt it was a little lacking content wise (I saw at least one repeat question in just the couple sessions I played for this review), but for the price it does its job well enough! It's a neat concept done well, a good alternative for a party game/icebreaker!

It's your basic run-of-the-mill remaster. Most of the textures are AI upscaled, nothing new to be seen here other than the small handful of features talked about in the trailer. It's Persona 3 Portable, and whether or not you want to argue that we "should have gotten FES", ect, ect - P3P is what we ended up getting. In terms of being a working PC version of Persona 3 Portable, it does its job superbly, because it is just the same PSP game as before.

A disclaimer: If you're somehow here and you're not already a megafan of the game/series/every bit of associated media, and you're looking to get into the Persona series, I'd strongly recommend playing either Persona 4 Golden or Persona 5 Royal first. Ironically enough, Persona 3 is a lot less beginner friendly and easy to get into as the other two games I mentioned previously (even if they are all great)!

That's about it, it's Persona 3 Portable - the best version of the game, because you can date the emo dude and his P90X fanatic best friend at the same time, and neither of them get mad at you! 9/10

EDIT: I can't wait to hear the Nyx Avatar poem in horrible nokia cellphone bitcrunch quality and then wanna Persona 3 myself

A surprisingly fun experience for being a free game - you can tell there's a lot of personal love put into it that makes it really special.

You date girls and try not to be horribly murdered, which is just like real life! Only in real life you only get to really experience the second one.

It's a fun dating sim and it's free - why not play it if you like those kinda games?

It's a pretty fun auto battler! Be careful with this one, you might end up ruining a friendship or two if you get good enough RNG hahaha

One big problem:

The microtransations are pretty dumb, considering there's a pay-to-win set of animals that you can use to just decimate the base game players. I'm not against giving money to free-to-play games that I like - I am however against rewarding shady business practices. (Just make both sets balanced - or at least try to)

Update: This issue has since been fixed, it was a problem at launch however
