It's so refreshing to launch a game on release where it runs well and plays great.
I enjoyed the first game and this is a great continuation. I have no idea how long the story is going to take but I already got 30 hours and I only did a couple stages of the main quest.
I have done no research on this aspect, in regards to if there may be an idea of a 3rd game or if this will be a true finale. Either way it's a ton of content to get into.
Buddy asked me how good this was, and if it compared to Skyrim. I gotta say. I love Skyrim. But this....I gotta say this is better. Guess we'll see how the new elder scrolls compares to this, eh?

I really want to like this game but I just cannot recommend it.

To be fair. No. I have not beaten the full story.

I feel like everything fun from the previous Orcs games has been removed.
There is no more customization for your weapons. No more trinkets. Just a character, and the traps.
Which by the way, there's less traps than previous games. The pool of available options is significantly lower.

The put it simply. the longer your run goes, the stronger the orcs get. That's all find and good, but the scaling is pretty brutal. Without unlocking a lot of expensive upgrades, I feel rather bottle-necked into just grinding skulls rather than exploring maps, load outs, and synergies. Sadly the amount of maps and amount of traps available make for a limited replay-ability.

Will have to try it in Co-op, surely playing with friends would improve the experience. I do not think this game has enough sustenance to keep me coming back.

I've tried to play this on 2 occasions now. And I am just not having fun with it. It's really tragic since I've really enjoyed all the previous titles. On the surface it looks great but the more I play, the more shallow the gameplay feels. It just felt like fetch quest after fetch quest.

It's super relaxing, even when it's being annoying and not giving you the tiles you need to get perfect set-ups. It's a blast. 9.5/10

Really solid game. I've gotten a lot enjoyment from it, from early access to new updates.

It's not a horrible game but it's really not good enough to recommend. I tried it a long time ago and never finished it, until recently.

Just picked it back it back up and beat it in around 5 hours. Rather short for the game style.

The major gripes I have is the camera shake and the lack of a map. I get it, the map has lots of shortcuts. But damn...Do I *not* enjoy when i forgot where that one staircase was at. And even with those annoyances, it was a rather short game.

The camera shake is tolerable but when it starts goin'... OH BABY it's shaky screen.

The combat is decent, but its very slow. Takes a while to get used to, and even then, it still feels sluggish,

All in all i give it like a 5/10. If it's on a good sale and you like souls like games, it's worth a shot.

Bought this game on sale. I had kinda forgot about this game as I remember hearing not the best things about it when it first came out. But after reading all the recent positive reviews, and all the tags being interesting to me, I grabbed it.

What a solid game. The story is well told and intriguing, hold your attention when it needs to and lets you loose when it has to. The world is large and fun to explore. The crafting is nothing insane but it works well and is quite balanced. Learning some of the recipes takes quote some time and not all of them are amazing, but it's fun to kill the zombies with all of your crafted explosives and traps.

If you see this game on sale and you like story driven open world survival crafting games. This will suit that itch.

It's visuals are really pretty. The combat gets more interesting as you play but it never blew me away. I beat it in just a few sessions while mostly exploring the world. The world unlocks as you earn items so you will need to go back through zones with your newly found powers to get everything, which can be quite tedious. I grabbed it while it was on sale for 20 bucks and I think it was worth it.
