Make this a vampire survivors game and you're good.

This is the very first game made by an indie game company in japan focused on photography and art. This game lacks experience and polish but it's "an okay game''.

You play as a boy who involves himself the Japanese supernatural to save his hometown from a typhoon.
..That's kinda it, its a pretty short game i finished in 5 hours

The game is NOT challenging and is ONLY story driven walking from one side of the screen to the other. Repeatedly only to progress dialogue and the story.

No insane fights or close moments, the only puzzle that this game contains is hitting bells in a certain order multiple times in different places with your stolen baseball bat. That's it.

However, i think the game has good characters, art style, story and ending. For a good price, I'd buy it on sale for around 5 euro's.

I am going to tell you what this game does NOT have so you can have realistic expectations;
-Boss fights. 0.
-Challenging platforming.
-Amazing Japanese cultural music.
-Multiple endings or impacting choices. The ending just treats it like you did all the side quests.
-Deep reflection moments that make you go like wow i'm gonna think about this at night in my bed.
-Dating kappa's.
-Character development. Basically everything stays the same.

I personally recommend this game if you really like Japanese folklore and stories.

God i love this game and my waifu's.
But i don't know if its just me but i really want to sew the witch's mouth shut she talks way way WAY too much.

In this game you are playing a troubled teen boy in the Philipines hanging out with his friends and going through the daily flow of life. Through relatable storytelling, colourful mini-games and having a beautiful pixel environment, the game expresses itself uniquely. The music as well shows how much love and effort has been put into creating this.

The game itself plays like a movie and has a slow pace.. But just like the game and in life, to enjoy something truly you really need to give it time to impact you. The reason i am telling you this is because most stories don't paint you a full picture.
Sometimes we are blinded with how we view the world and how we were feeling at that moment to see what is really happening and what is important. I think that's the essence of this game and its theme. Even if you dislike the psychological aspect in these type of games, you would probably still enjoy the story.

I personally recommend this game.

I recommend you buy this game when its fully released in 2023. Its good, but incomplete and short. Consider buying if you want to support the devs with feedback or money.

Early access review for the Devs:
-Improve inventory system. Id like to shift click everything into the travelers chest or the pouch.
-Fix Tiefling tail. Its very spastic when going down a ladder or taking quick turns besides a wall. I find this personally a must.
-A warning about hitting level cap at level 4 on level 2 and also in further expansions. In my play through i wanted to tactically get my spells and stuff at certain levels. When i hit level 4 and found out about it, i went trough the game with my feeling incomplete characters.
-Auto save feature improvement. I really can not tell when auto-save is triggered. It would help out if you could set it at certain times or every time you enter or leave a zone.
-The what do you think of me dialogue should be added to every companion. I think its a nice way of knowing how much they like you. Like with Shadowheart.
-Make sex scene better, why are we all still wearing armor. >:(

Online play is dead, no twitch streamers are playing it, no cross-play, mediocre game, lacking in content.

Controls feel really out of place in my personal opinion. My main worry was the dedicated jump button. I wish you could set it to the joy-con to jump or go trough platforms.

The keys are worth 5 bucks if you want to try it out.

I personally do not recommend this game.

Completed every quest in the game within the month of it being out and got around 33 of the 55 achievements.
After clocking 100 hours into this i can say that this is not a successor to world but its child.
May this child grow to be stronger when the Sunbreak DLC comes out or if it will under perform the massive content that has been World and Iceborne. Only when the time comes we can really tell.
In my opinion the game plays better than world and keeps you into the hunts more instead of the menu screens.
The game has some challenging quests but is far easier than its predecessors.
Take that as you will.

Also my personal opinion is that the lack of quests compared to world might have something to do with the 100 Euro Deluxe Layered armor DLC they have in the steam store. I don't think this is nice.

I personally recommend the game now because of the amount of players that are playing right now.
It helps you get a more fun and easier multiplayer experience that i find worth having.
Rather than that if you don't have money to spare wait until summer for said DLC.

To sum my whole experience in one sentence:
Fun game, Not a lot of content, Missing the graphics and weather system from world, addicting.

Although not a replacement for Orcs Must Die Unchained, but a successor of Orcs Must Die 2.
Orcs must die is a game where you kill orcs with traps/weapons and stop them from going into a portal.
This game consists of 18 fun unique levels, an interesting story of two students and their predecessors and a lot of new traps. Like the new giant war-mode traps for the mega-sized levels.
I think the game is fairly priced if you are looking for a fun co-op game or are a fan of the OMD series.

I personally recommend this game for casual players, tower defense lovers and fans of the series.

(On a side note, there is a workaround to play OMD Unchained Singleplayer if you search for it online. Its very easy and worthwhile if you miss the game.)
