This game now fully lacks any true sense of progression, you immediately start at light level 1900 with a soft cap of 1940 (which can be reached very quickly) followed by a hard cap of 1990.
Why couldn't Destiny 2 have kept the original content, main campaign and expansions and allowed players to progress from Level 1 - 30 and the Power Level w/e through 1900.
If you're going to act like an MMO at least try to emulate one properly.
