Fighter road. It's a reward track to unlock characters, there's no longer any other way to unlock characters besides fighter road or spending money. Fighter road works similarly to a battle pass, you earn exp by completing missions for it and make progress towards unlocking a character. Because it functions similarly to a battle pass, you don't get to pick what to unlock, you have to unlock them all in order. Interested in the newest character in the game? Well better grind for the next year unlocking every character in the game before you can finally get to the new character.

If you can get it for less than a dollar, maybe. This might as well be a newgrounds flash game with how much content and depth it has. even at the 5 dollar price it costs way too much. I felt tempted to refund it but i feel wrong refundin games I already finished so I won't, but I'm not happy.

I'm not downvoting this game because it's bad. It's fairly acceptable,. I'm downvoting this game because there's just nothing it really does better than riichicity. Riichi city has better animations, a better gacha, a better rank system (albeit with fewer player), actual incentive to log in and play daily, built in ai analysis to help you improve, and a better tutorial. It's really strange to me that mahjong soul has much better reviews than riichicity despite being objectively worse.

Gets more negativity than it deserves. Plays identically to mahjong soul. The gacha is more friendly to f2ps than mahjong soul and all outfits including the base ones are all animated as opposed to only a select few expensive outfits in mahjong soul. Characters actually always read off the yaku in this game while in mahjong soul they only do so if you have max bond. There are some revealing outfits in this game but you can hide them in the settings by turning on family friendly mode, and there's also the option in the settings to mute the voice of every individual character so if there's a character you don't like hearing, you can mute them. The tutorial is also better in this. This game doesn't deserve the negativity it's getting. I think mahjong soul is easier to keep up with casually however due to the lack of a battlepass.

The playerbase in mahjong soul is also larger, in riichicity it's easy to find games for low to mid ranks, but the highest rank in the game is pretty much a ghost town. I'm nowhere near that rank so i'm having no problems fighting games, but i tried to spectate high rank games and there were no games being played in the highest rank.

I started with mahjong soul first before starting riichicity and I think both games are worth playing so i fully intend to alternate between the two of htem. Don't let this game's mixed rating stop you from trying it out.

Well, it's a good price and I like the protagonists. They''re funny and charming, I feel like the game's balance is a bit off though. They're very very stingy with healing items and enemies are very numerous. The amount of enemies felt like the game is meant to be played co-op and they don't lighten up on you at all for playing by yourself. I wish this game had a dedicated run button because i found myself trying and failing to actually run fairly often using the double tap method. R2 and L2 on my ps4 controller were completely unused so i'd like to set one of them to run. But I don't regret buying the game at all.

This is one of the highest effort digital versions of a physical board game I've ever seen. They didn't just copy-paste the board and its pieces, they really went all out here. There's even single player challenges with special rules and conditions and multiple difficulty levels to try out when your'e playing alone.

Gameplaywise this is really jampacked for an eroge. I'm a weirdo who plays eroge for the gameplay rather than adult content, opting to keep the protagonist a virgin all the way through to the end and I gotta say this game manages to stand on its own without having to rely on said adult content.
