Inconsistent pacing, story is barely present and the puzzling is lackluster. I did really love the artstyle tho, atmosphere was nicely tied together with the accompanied soundtrack. In conclusion -> it's not that great and have played better titles within the genre.

The leveling system sucks the joy out of playing this game. Everything else is mediocre at best and can't keep my interest or make me look past my biggest complaint.
Sidenote: OT works perfectly fine on steamdeck.

The ending had me emotional, going through all the side-quests and main story was a lovely experience and all the characters just grow on you. Gameplay felt challenging enough, even made me grit my teeth a few times but eventually was able to power through everything. Do you like anything JRPG? You'll need to try this one out, absolute gem.

Just not my cup of tea, love some swordplay but this just ain't doing it for me. Falls flat and the humour is just not hitting it's mark for me.

Where Gris excelled, Neva really lacks. I'd advice anyone who wants an immersive atmosphere to play Neva in storymode and not adventure, it just sucks you out of it. It's a pretty gme but that's all it is for me. Other negative reviews have a better way of wording what made this experience for me so lackluster.

Alas, not for me. I'm fighting more with the controls than anything else, combat is super janky and bit frustrating. Gameplay doesn't feel good on either deck or laptop. While I do like the style of this game and had high hopes but it just doesn't play smoothly for me. Might give it another shot somewhere in the future but for now I'm just storing this back into my library.
Do wanna leave some Pro's: The voice that guides you is very suitable, music is nice and feel of story is interesting, style(look) is unique and lovable.

After trying it on Steamdeck, which at first was fun it soon felt a bit dull and quite repetitive. The honeymoon phase with this game was lost quickly to me. Might be a good game for someone else, just not for me.

Mate, the gasp I gasped at the intro cinematic, the sheer beauty this game has to offer and the challenging game play make it such a delight. This was so worth the wait and I'm glad I hyped myself up for its release. Happy playing for those that are just as excited as I am to discover all this work of art has to offer.


Update: After finishing the game on NG+ to get the true ending, I am still baffled, swept off my feet by everything I experienced while playing. I've actually laughed, cried and got frustrated during the many hours I put into this. I adore this gem.
