The most fun ive had with a game in a long time. I humbly ask you to give it a shot as well. Here's why:

Wanted: Dead is very traditional when it comes to character action games which is a good thing, it's also to be expected since the developer team consists of a lot of the prior Ninja Gaiden & Dead or Alive devs.

You shouldn't expect any modern Bayonetta or DMC type aspects, no no no, you gotta get very technical and lab your moveset out like in a fighting game. (It has a literal training mode just for that.) After that the game will open up for you. You need to learn to use the guard cancel for your advantage so you are positive on block. Always move around, use spacing to your advantage. Run, dash, slash. The gunplay combined with the melee, guard cancels and dodge rolls will all come together if you are willing to learn it.

The game offers a nice variety of enemy types which all have their respected movesets. These enemies are no joke either, they are insanely aggressive and will push you out of any cover you are trying to take. It's no Ninja Gaiden but it's quite high up there.

Playing the game on Japanese hard mode with the whole skill tree unlocked, that's where it's at.

The game flies off the handle with the story, characters, voice acting, mini-games etc. It's really refreshing to see.
