EDIT after testing Afterbirth content (Scroll down for Rebirth review):

The DLC upgrades the game to an estimated double content. It is compareable to the changes Millen made with the Wrath of the Lamb DLC of tBoI back in the days. On the one hand it improves the game with small but important tweaks like better graphics, new music, a new announcer, faster animations and a HUD inventory overlay option. On the other, it also integrates 2 new characters, new alternate maps, extra challenges, alot of new items to destroy more and more poop piles, more achievements to explore and 2 new playable gamemodes: Daily challenges like those in Spelunky with premade dungeons (online ladder) and Greed mode which is comparable to arena campaigns and very nice new bosses and less roaming. This will lead to another potential 200 hrs of playtime, love it!

All in all, this update is definitely worth buying. It ups my vanilla version rating from 10 to 11/10.

Rebirth review

Why play any other single player game if there's The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth?!? 10/10, most of the players already know why. ;)
It's perfect in all aspects but still lacking an online multiplayer gamemode, which is the only downside. Ignore the couch coop promise, it's not a real coop but 1 player supports the other as a brother/sister companion.
If you haven't played it yet, do so! You haven't played any soloplay indie title yet that is superior to this, believe me! Unlimited replay value.

P.S.: I love you, Mr. McMillen, a fanboy! XD
