I bought this game when it was in early access at the time, and I didn't have the proper hardware for the computer to run it as I didn't much about computers back then as I just saw it as a really cool survival game and Just give it a shot (this was around 2015 at the time.) it ran like crap on my old computer but I played a bit of it but my system would keep over heating.

Up until now as I have the time to play and beat this game (July. 14. 2020 at 4:03 p.m pst) I beat it and had the most amazing survival experience of any game I've played. (with new hardware ofc)

Here are my pros and cons:

pros:
- Great soundtrack that suited the environment
- The graphics are just beautiful with rich colour and diverse locations to explore
- plenty of tools to work around with and to transverse the environment with
- very interesting lore and back story in the game about it's habitats and species which if you are into that.
- lots of places to explore and feel intrigued to keep looking for more
- can be very scary at points, especially for new players that don't know anything about the game. (LOL have fun)

cons:
- An ok story, not the best but it gets the job done but it comes to a satisfying conclusion at the end.

- Can be buggy at some times especially travelling in the alien sites with a prawn suit. (Tip: Don't go down any slopes or edges as your suit would get stuck!!! You have to do trial and error to get the prawn suit out of being stuck in the ground.)

- (Personal pick) The game can get tedious as the way of the crafting system works in this game and trying to find all of the items that you need to get to explore more locations, I know it's out of progression but It's how I feel when I was going through the middle section of the game. it gets a lot better when you get the prawn suit and the tedious goes away after that point.


Overall score : 9.0/10

This game really nails the survival/horror experience which I really love, I recommend this to anyone that has a curious mind of exploring in games or a big fan of survival games like Stranded deep, Raft, The Forest, etc.

Ok, I know that i put 2.1 hrs into the game and I really want to get into it but there is a lot of content that has been riped from the game and has been put for microshit and dlcs. The best way just to get your money out of this game is to buy it when its on sale like summer or winter sale or when the company goes on sale, like right now june 1 - 5.
