So let's get this out of the way, yes the game is similar to Paper Mario and can be seen as somewhat as a spiritual successor to that style of rpg. Now that that's out of the way the game is phenomenal in just about every aspect; all the music is a bop, the gameplay is crisp, and I've fallen in love with the writing. While this game again is heavily inspired by Paper Mario it has made the formula its own and I eagerly anticipate that they might develop a sequel. The only thing I have a complaint about is some of the platforming and that seems like a pretty common criticism but, that's just about all I can thing of if you're looking for a con.
