Great game inspired by the movie Cast Away. It's easy to put a lot of time in this game, but at a certain point you will be done with everything. A lot of challenges you have to overcome.

Would have been nice to have a little bit more story telling to it.

Brings back a lot of old memories and first experience with the RTS genre.

Please do a RA2 Remastered version incl Yuri's Revenge, skirmish and map editor!

Pro's
With all the details and realistic models it feels like a simulator with some added arcade game play elements (for example collecting nectar, fighting and racing). The animals are realistically designed, but the people are more cartoonish. The art style for storytelling is also great. I also love how they added multiple languages including spoken narrative to make the game playable for many kids all over the world. The message is very positive and this game helps and teaches players many valuable facts and lessons about bees. It also reminds me a bit of Bee Movie and my guess is the developers used some parts of this movie as inspiration for the game.

Cons
Some small mistakes are easily forgiven, such as the names for some animals were confused in Dutch language (it said "hippo" when I found some rino's and red macaw while I discovered a green macaw). Besides that the end of the game is kinda unrealistic (no real spoilers) since normally bees are removed from those kind of places (more likely than removed from trees).

Conclusion
Although me and my kids finished the main story in just 4 hours there's still a lot of things left to do in the open world. Everything else in the game is rather perfect for my taste. The controls are great, the story is great, the open world is great and the developers truly studied the world of bees and bugs before making this game. Overall I give this game a whopping 9/10.

Really love this new map! The sounds of the insects really makes it feel realistic and I love the desert theme.

Next map: PLEASE ADD A RAINFOREST RESERVE TO THIS AMAZING GAME.

Amazon rainforest or Congo jungle would be so epic: hunting monkeys, wild pigs, crocodiles and jaguars. Or maybe even the infamous anaconda snake.

Keep it up, I buy every map you guys create. It's always a new adventure, because nature is so beautiful! Amazing to enjoy God's most beautiful creations from the comfort of my gaming chair. We truly live in wonderful times...

Fun puzzle game with an okay-ish destruction mechanic (the fire is kinda limited), although you're 100% forced to be a criminal: you play a liar, a thief and commit vandalism to others people's property. This didn't feel like fun to me so I quit the campaign a few hours in.

This game is breathtaking in many ways, but mostly in art style/ visuals and story line. The characters you meet feel quite realistic in their personalities and the story is a nice blend of many fitting ingredients; futuristic and historic at the same time. A downside is maybe a bit too much religious superstition, but it fits the story pretty well. Also it is clearly a game developed in the first place for console. This is visible in the movement/fighting controls of the main character which can feel a bit clunky sometimes. And the insane loading time of 2,5 minutes in the start menu (while it's installed on my M2 SSD) was very awkward, but after running the optimization and a few more restarts it's now much better.
Truly an amazing game which I rate banana out of 10 (close to perfection).
