Edit: Win10 version is finally fixed for a while now, no more sound issues (not sure if demo works fine now though).

TL;DR: The game is great, worth buying during sales, has small, fixable issues. Works fine on Linux as long as you select Win7 during launch. Demo is an older version that doesn't work well on Linux (sound issues).

Much more detailed than other similar games. Still, it leaves you wanting for more. For example, when workers finish their shift, they teleport back home instead of using any transport. And you can't place semaphores in train tunnels or make underground crossovers, which makes the metro system too simplistic. The customs houses are unnecessarily slow (though that's fixable with a mod).

There are good reasons why some of the above are the way they are. For example, having workers pathfind their way back home could cause performance issues. And it's a fact that customs houses always had queues back in the day. But, just like there is an option to play casual (autobuy, autobuild, etc.), it should be possible to tune those parameters too. Maybe I don't expect my game to run at high FPS, as long as it's working as I want.

Other than those small (and fixable, it's up to the devs I guess) issues, the game is definitely worth it. Despite the performance concerns they have, it's one of the few games where my GPU screams at max graphics. It's important to mention that it works on Linux with Proton Experimental, as long as you launch the game by selecting the Win7 version. I'd say the game is worth buying during sales, as the initial price is too high for me.

The demo is an older version of the game that doesn't work well on Linux. It is known that, on both current and demo version, there are sound issues on the Win10 version. The game will get stuck on a grey screen if you select the Win7 option on the demo, so you are forced to use the Win10 version, and have those sound issues. On the current version, though, the game launches just fine on Win7, and the sound works fine.

Excellent game, I was constantly searching for a good Snooker and I've finally found it. The devs make frequent updates with substantial fixes and improvements, a testament to the love and devotion for their game.

It works flawlessly on Linux too (with Proton of course).

Won the DLC on the WOT event, and I have to say though, if I hadn't won it for free, I would have bought it some time anyway.

I don't know if I should recommend you this game. It really needs option for zoom sensitivity in my opinion, because I hate being given a simple specific multiplier based on my hipfire sensitivity. And as long as mechanics improve, this game is gonna hit the roof!
