Yeah that seemed to do it. I think some of the mods might have moved some files around too so it was difficult to find everything but after purging everything and reinstalling, the game runs smooth again. Comforting to know I wasnt the only frustrated by that problem!

Hey, I know this is random but I saw your comment from September about Empire Total War not launching. I have been having the same problem: click play, Steam says In Game for a few seconds, then back to Online, without the game ever opening or anything. Was wondering if you ever figured out a solution. Thanks!
