Genuinely awful. Looks good in static screenshots, in motion its like someone throwing up sour sweets on you. Nothing is animated (guess the ai cant do that yet).
The controls lack any weight or impact. The combat is all hitscan enemies and bland limp weapons.

It's so good! It's exactly what it looks like it is, with a brilliant level of polish.

I can't recommend it. There are 10 levels each lasting about 20 minutes. The classes don't really play any different. The movement and combat feels stodgy, clumsy and awkward. There's no narrative to pull you through the missions, you just do them at random. Sub objectives in missions are also randomly assigned so there's none of the fun of vermintide's risk reward, perfect run grimoire gathering. The weapon crafting is all missing at launch so the loot part of this looter shooter is largely absent. It doesn't even feel very warhammer-y, it's just brown.

There's almost nothing to recommend this once the initial excitement wears off.

If you came here it's probably from Miziziziz's youtube channel. The game is broadly what you were expecting it to be from that. It's a weird esoteric shooter with a cool inventory mechanic and neat biopunk theming. It's fairly short but it's also brutally hard so you get a reasonable amount of run time.

If you're slightly older and your reactions are a bit crap (like mine are) then you might struggle with the extreme twitch shooting nature of the core combat and enemies. An option to more permanently slow the whole thing down a bit would help (although that's what the time slowdown pickups do) but as it is the game is perfectly playable and pretty interesting.

One of those weird idiosyncratic games. Rough around the edges, inconsistent and unable to explain itself properly but if you grock it. Brilliant.

Build a settlement you depend on, venture out in incrementally larger expeditions, pushed further and further afield as you deplete the resources around you. Meet characters, depend on them, watch them die, then watch yourself die and repeat again and again and again as a nightmare from beyond time and space taunts you all the while. Begin to hate him, begin to fear the weather he assaults you with and the monsters waiting in the snow. In your sleeping moments capture fragments of the catalysm that caused this. Know what it is to fight hopelessly against a world that is set against you.

Maybe don't bother with the coop, it's a bit janky.

Xcom style combat with a WW Cthulhu slant on it. If you're into that it's smashing.

Sky pirates! Grappling hooks! Scanning every damn thing for knowledge! 8 man squads! What's not to like!

It's great. You don't play something for 500 hours if it's not highly enjoyable. Buy it, enjoy it. Particularly enjoyable with friends.
