I think it's possible to transfer a "Sandboxed" save file into your main one just by moving it (and maybe renaming it) but I don't know if the Windows Store version can use Mod.io or if there's anything on Mod.io that could help.
There was once an "Experimental Branch" that had a "Cheats Terminal", but I don't know of a way to access it now.

The Gamepass version of stuff will come from the Microsoft Store. The Microsoft Store games are in UWP files. You should be able to look inside of them and take your save file out. I think the game itself will have the same folder structure as the Steam version when you do.
