Honestly I love this game so much, it feels and looks great and has content to do in spades, provided that you are willing to find it. The new player experience is sub optimal for sure, but luckily the community is very helpfull and kind.

It is a grind heavy game that depends a lot on you as a player finding your own reason to play, want to get the most powerfull gear possible? Make yourself the most badass looking frame around? Whatever it might be, find yourself a goal and strive towards it and you will love warframe. If not it is still worth a try for just the main storyline which will give you a feel for the rest of the game.

as for it being F2P nothing in the game feels pay to win and thanks to player trading being available everything in the game can be earnt for free, with a few exceptions. Warframe is a must try and a beacon of F2P done well, in my own opinion of course.
