Somebody gifted me this game as a joke.
Joke's on him I finished all the puzzles and got all the achievements.

Honestly, if you like to look at artwork of faces of beautiful women (and a handful of men), then you can invest the pocket change.

As a game it is way too simple for my tastes.
I didn't have to pay for it however, so it's all gucci.

Enjoyable little arcade game. It does make it's predecessor Bit Blaster XL kind of obsolete however.
Just getting the high score feels nice and things get really hard to keep watch over really quickly.

If your controls feel bugged, go into settings and change controls to classic.
Otherwise you may have a similar issue like I did, where your rocket just randomly stops moving mid-turn.

Anyhow, it's worth the 3 bucks.

Refunct is quite a short little game. A relaxing 3D platformer where the initial goal is to simply push the buttons and color each platform.
Once you're done for the first time, you can endeavour on a quest to collect all the cubes lying around, coloring 100% of the world or speedrun pushing the buttons and essentially getting all the achievements.
After everything is done, the only thing left to do is to hang around, enjoy the soundtrack and color the platforms in whatever your favourite color is.

I've enjoyed my time with it and I think Dominique has done a swell job on this wee game.
Definitely worth the pocket change.

The game itself is extraordinarily fun to play, especially if you're the type that likes these sort of twitchy, fast-paced games.
Controls are pretty tight and the concept is straightforward, no need to use much, if any, brain power:
Survive, collect boxes, number go up.
Just go monke-mode and you're good.

The only reason I do not recommend it, is because this game seemingly does not work as intended. For whatever reason I occasionally phase through boxes and obstacles when I am right in the middle of them. This bug gets worse especially in the higher difficulty levels, which makes an attempt at completing the game more of a pain in the butt than it is already supposed to be.
There's a community discussion on this specific bug as well talking about it since 18 Nov, 2017.
It has been at least 7 years since this bug has been a known issue yet it has not been fixed.

I've tried some of the methods other people used in the community discussions, but none have worked so far...

I both love and hate this game.
It's fun and addicting. I hate it because it is challenging as heck and I am dumb.
The soundtrack is also lovely and despite the songs only being sped up in the higher difficulties it doesn't sound off, which is honestly a great feat in my opinion.
There aren't many levels but the few that exist have a satisfying variety to them with the second halves of each level changing things up from the standard gameplay in some rather fun ways.

The only gripe I have with the levels or their design specifically would be Level 5's 75%-100% and Level 7's 80%-90% ranges. These sections seem kind of odd, in that the rhythm that you're supposed to follow is quite difficult to hear in the song itself. I only managed to get by by completely memorizing them which I don't think is something you should be doing in a rhythm game.

This is a weird and fun experience at the same time.
Unlike other rhythm based games, this one does not focus on having funky beats or catchy tunes.
Instead you are welcomed solely by drums, kicks, scratches and distorted sounds while surging forwards at ridiculously high speeds trying your best to react in time.

It is quite fun once you get a hang of it and manage to perfectly dodge or essentially speedrun bosses.
More than enough fun for a first playthrough and definitely worth it's price.
And if you're a completionist, trying to get a perfect score on every level can also be quite a challenge (Especially if you try to get through the entire game without dying).

+ I can dismember ratmen.
+ more monsters
+ fun with friends

- for boring rotbloods who are essentially zombies with weapons.
- I don't have friends
