Ok, so imagine Chivalry.
Alright, now imagine that it wasn't garbage.
NOW, imagine that, BUT the developers made the game insanely customizable; Change your characters physique, face, even your accent and your pitch of voice. Not only that, but this has an amazing variety of weapons (tons of weapons, way more than Chivalry ever could), and you can customize the appearance of it with-- get this-- no stupid paid skin DLCs. Yup, you just play, and you'll earn gold to buy everything. You can even change particular parts of your weapon, for instance, I can change the blade to a different appearance, then change the hilt to something else as well.

But the biggest reason to buy this, is probably that I personally believe this is the most realistic and immersive medieval combat experience-- ever. The only real problem I've encountered was during the first few weeks of launch, the servers were pretty bad, but that's not really an issue anymore. So, if you want my honest opinion: If you love medieval games, especially brutal ones where you can chop arms and heads off, then this will be the very best example of that. Plus you get alot of content for the $29.99 price tag, so I definitely recommend it.

This is probably the biggest redemption I've seen in the video game industry in the past few years--hell, maybe even the last 10 years. At launch, I hated the game and was sure that they'd abandon the game after not delivering on the promises, but they didn't. The same feelings of captivation and imagination that I experienced when watching the E3 trailer are the same feelings I feel playing this game AT THE CURRENT STATE. This game is amazing, I ♥♥♥♥ you not. Sure, there are still fundamental issues (such as repetition after you've played for a very, very long time), but the people at Hello Games have released 6 (7 with the release of the upcoming update called No Man's Sky: Beyond). These 6 massive updates, from oldest to new: Foundation, Pathfinder, Atlas Rises, NEXT, Abyss, and Visions. These updates have literally addressed almost all of the fatal flaws that the initial release had, and upon that, added an INSANE amount of content/gameplay changes. I'd list them, but it's honestly so vast, that I've honestly forgotten how many "massive" changes they've introduced.

And to put it bluntly I actually regard the current state as MUCH better than even the E3 No Man's Sky, which obviously looked amazing. While I feel it's a bit pricey for my liking, if you can buy this game on sale, definitely pick it up. Finally, the best way to convince you that this game is infinitely better than what we got at release, look on YouTube! "No Man's Sky in 2019", hell, even just watch the trailers for the updates, then you'll truly grasp at how much better the game has become.

Early Access Review
To be honest, I didn't expect for this to be ONLY LOCAL (no online mutliplayer at all yet). Despite it being shown a couple times on the store page, saying it's local, I was to busy imagining how cool it would be to throw people off of moving trucks and ♥♥♥♥.

Heres the current issues/reasons you should NOT buy it yet! :
* No Online Multiplayer Whatsoever! Unless if you have many friends with seperate controllers, you're not playing with anyone else.

* No Single Player At ALL. I've watched other versions that actually had a functional singleplayer and if I'm not mistaken, with a boss you could fight also, where the ♥♥♥♥ is it?

* Random Lag Spikes annoy the ♥♥♥♥ out of you: Like when I'm fighting, my frames will drop tremendously during random intervals.

This might disappoint you, as it did me. I understand it's an "Early Access Game', but what in the actual ♥♥♥♥? I expected atleast singleplayer with bots if mutliplayer was not there, but no, if you want to play, you're pretty much playing by yourself with a bunch of unmoving people (Bots that do no action whatsoever).

I honestly hope they add to this game quickly, because what I just bought was completely boring and displeasing.
