The definition of a Masterpiece.
I truly do believe that this game perfected difficulty in video games. Sure, Demon's Souls did it first or whatever, but in my opinion, Demon's Souls' difficulty had a lot of added B.S. to it like with the world tendency system, and just how overall experimental the game was.

I do love this remaster, it may be no Demon's Souls Remake, but I really like the better particle effects, 60 fps, and proper resolution. I know a lot of people like to hate on this remaster because it didn't change a lot of things, but you have to remember all of the quality of life things they added and just how much better optimized it is compared to Prepare To Die Edition. Remastered version or not, this game is a masterpiece and my favorite game in the Souls trilogy and genre. 10/10, a certified MASTERPIECE.
