Edit: After the thought
After playing for 100 hours and with everything that happened, it is hard to say the game is worth its price. Any payday fan will be disappointed. Anyone who has played Payday 2 will be disappointed. Someone who says "What is a gosh darn payday" will most likely enjoy this game as it is heavily targeted to casual/new-age gamers. Everything old has been thrown out the window and they are trying to re-write the receipt

All in all, do not expect it to be the game of the year, it is a good game to play with friends and it has potential but needs a lot of time to grow, it did not release in a finished state and can be considered "in development" for the time being.

Pay day fans do not get your hopes up
Casual PC gamers, think of picking it up.

Release comment:
All I see is people complaining about the servers not working, some have decent feedback.
Some choices made in designing this game are questionable, like the removal of the offline mode and I'm not the biggest fan of the lobby system. Some of the best moments I had in PD2 were chilling with friends in the lobby showing off our silly masks and talking in VCs without even playing.
Other than that I have not seen anything egregiously broken with this game only some models glitching out. I have played the beta a bit and now the real game for a few hours with friends and I can say it is still payday. It offers new mechanics and some fresh air in the franchise after the 2 last games being mechanically very similar.
I do believe it is a good game and will only become better with time.

The devs have a decent track record with listening to the community and I hope this will be prevalent throughout the further development of pay day 3.

you could sell this as a rage game as the controlls are so bad. They made me close the game by accident and i think that was the highlight of my experience
