The last time I played Fallout NV was 2015 and I had no idea how good I had it.
Im replaying it now in 2025 and modding New Vegas never was easier.
All you need is:
- visit the viva new vegas website
- go the last chapter called "Wabbajack" and follow the instructions.
Wabbajack is a program that automates modding and simplifies the whole process to a "click to mod" experience.
- Viva new vegas comes with 2 variants: vanilla and vanilla+. Wabbajack installs both and you can switch between them if you prefer one over the other.

For german gamers: You need the uncut gore version in order for viva new vegas to work. Comment below, so I can give you the youtube link :). This was way easier than using DepotDownloader

Worth mentioning: I finally understood how to play Caravan!

Replaying Mass Effect is like coming back together with old friends. Everyone who played the series will understand that.

If you have not touched the trilogy yet, do yourself a favor and play it. I assure you that you will be on an unforgettable journey.

Are you familiar with horde games?
Do you like Vermintide 2, Killing Floor 2?
Then you will like this game
It just got a new patch with: 3 new weapons and a new difficulty / endgame challenges
When Fatshark keeps supporting this game as long as Vermintide 2, then we're in for a treat!

Are you not familiar with horde games?
Pick one of the 4 classes
slaugther through hordes of enemies to skill your character and upgrade your weapons
the need for teamplay increases with the difficulty
The beginning can be rough, but remember: dodging and blocking is your friend!

As much as I loved Shadow of Chernobyl, Call of Pripyat and even the bugfest Clear Sky, I have to give Stalker 2 a negative review.
Why? One of the main antagonists in the game is just invisible. His voice plays just fine, but the cutscenes and the entire atmosphere becomes utterly silly. If this happened on release, I would look over it, but its been over a month and 3 big patches later.

I really loved the game, my playtime is legit but this is just unacceptable and I cannot continue the main story like that.

Call of Pripyat really is something else.
I have to admit that I flushed it on my first run after 2h, because it was not what I expected, coming straight from SoC and CS. Now after a complete playthrough of CS (with a lot of bugs!) I gave it another shot and it is actually phenomenal. The few quests that I have came across were really well done and way more than generic fetch quests that you might remember from CS.
You can see the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. trilogy kinda like the METRO series. CoP has the open-world aspect of Metro Exodus. Whereas SoC and CS are more "story-driven" and not as open in comparison. CoP does have a story, but it is up to you if you want to do it immediatelly or explore numerous points of interest beforehand, to stock up on supplies and upgrade your gear.

As with the other S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games, the atmosphere is unmatched. Playing during night time with a thunderstorm going, and lightning illuminating the night sky, drawing shadows of the buildings/trees before you. Damn - This game is from 2010 by the way. I kinda regret starting it so close to the release of Stalker 2. I might not have enough time to finish it..

Recommended Mods:
- Call of Pripyat Complete edition for texture, bug fixes, etc.(Does have its own exe. Just run it and enjoy the game)
- optional add-on for Complete edition: stronger flashlight

It's sad that Humble Games got closed. Stairway Games really made a farming game that is hard to put down.
As with all the other farming games, this one includes various fruits/vegetables, animals to take care off, fishing/catching insects, seasonal festivities and of course: dating.

Things that make Coral Island so different:
- the option to adjust the passage of time (you want to rush your farm, or relax and explore the town? Its your choice!)
- tool enchanting
- fast travel
- very interesting characters, such as gods, giants, mermaids
- multiple progression systems that keep you occupied

There really is *A LOT* to do in Coral Island

Worth mentioning: I reported a bug that involved my xbox controller. The devs answered my ticket and asked me to record the incident, so their dev team can look into it!

The game looks stunning and has a lot of options: from disabling HUD elements, to adjusting possible "fish-eye" effect on ultrawide aspect ratios.

Performance:
- 60-80FPS with FSR3.0 set to Quality - everything else on MAX. (1440p. ultrawide with 7900XT)
I did not notice any visual artifacts. The way I see it, it's more FPS with little to no visual differences

- Insane stuttering at the beginning. Once you play a bit the stuttering disappears completely. No stuttering during my 7h of playtime

Advice:
Play on the "90s" filter, as the default setting it way to colourful for a Silent Hill experience

works well and has a lot of settings to play around with.
Graphics could be a little bit better (f.e: Anti-Aliasing), but its free to use, so who am I to complain.
thumbs up!
