The core gameplay's pretty good, but there's not that many maps and the F2P progression is just such a grind, even for these kinds of games. It's packed with so many skins and units and all sorts, but you have to grind an unholy amount to even think about getting them.

Even with the Battle Pass it's not really worth it. Just can't recommend it right now with how little content there is and how predatory those MTXs are.

is witty without ever being mean, funny without ever being obnoxious. The game strikes a perfect balance between difficulty and challenge. The environments are lovely and interesting, and there's a real sense of adventure, even whilst the game is making bum and willy jokes.

In short, if you like adventure games, buy this game. It's absolutely class.

If you enjoy deep introspection and walking simulators, this game is for you. You won't find any of the wit or comedy of Stanley Parable, nor a deep and engaging gameplay system here, so it's pretty much just got its story and its message.

And I mean that. If you enjoy metaphors and picking things apart and being "deep" (or dare I say it, pretentious) then this game is for you. It's made for you. It's made with you in mind. I can't say much more than that without spoiling things.

Personally, I felt a little annoyed by the game, it was slow and I felt like I did little more than hold W for most of it. I could have done with a bit more engagement as a player, have the games actually involve games in them instead of just occasional dialogue trees, but that's arguably got a lot to do with the point the game is putting across. I'm glad this game exists, and if it was a penny more than £6, i'd say it was a waste of money, but for £5.59, it's an interesting oddity. I just hope Davey's next game has a bit more fun to it.

On the more brass tack side of things, the graphics are kind of barren and spartan, though there are some visually interesting elements, the voice acting is pretty good, but it just doesn't feel quite as polished as Stanley Parable. The game uses the Portal 2 Source engine's teleportation thingy (I forget what it's called) to make impossible spaces a lot, and it uses it to great effect, but you're not going to get much in the way of exciting and breathtaking visuals in this game (Though there are some pretty cool moments.)

At its short completion length (really, I beat the game I promise), I can just barely recommend this game, but only at its low price and only if you really like this sort of thing. I'm excited to see what comes in the future, and I don't think this is a bad game; it's certainly an interesting one, but just not quite what I really wanted from a game like this.

As per usual, Capcom have completely disappointed their fanbase. What kind of company sells a game based on its co-op features, promises offline co-op in the store description, and then doesn't deliver ANY kind of co-op on launch?

This is a complete waste of money. Feature-wise, the game seems like it might be good in co-op. There are a few nice little touches that encourage co-operative play. Moira doesn't use guns, but can aim the flashlight and finish off enemies for Claire, effectively turning the RE4 staple of the good old 1-2 Shoot'n'melee combo into a co-op action, which is a great idea. The sound design and atmosphere are top-notch, and the enemies genuinely feel slightly threatening. In co-op, this game might be quite a lot of fun, what completely kill it is the partner AI.

The AI is a complete handicap; moira would frequently be unable to follow me, she would fail to finish off enemies I had shot, she refused to use her crowbar at all even when I was on the brink of death, and she would only occasionally use the flashlight, usually in well-lit areas, the dark areas being left unlit by her shy torch.

In its current state, the game feels like playing a splitscreen game in co-op by yourself and occasionally dropping one controller to play with the other. It's a shame because the dialogue is a decent peg above standard Resident Evil fare, and the plot is genuinely interesting for once with a wonderfully fresh SAW-esque vibe to it. You know a series is stagnating when borrowing from SAW makes it feel fresh.

Do NOT waste your money in this game until co-op is patched in. Although knowing Capcom, they're probably lying about that too.

This game was terrible.

Even ignoring the story, you spend most of your time walking around rooms not sure what to do and grungily reminisciing about hipster stuff. The time travel mechanic literally pauses the game every time anything could potentially harm you, and it removes all tension from choices by rendering the game literally impossible to fail at.

The time travel itself provides very linear choices, usually you do something once, learn the right answer, and then time travel back and give it. It's like quicksaving before every conversation.

Congratulations, you made time travel boring.
