If you enjoy building aircraft in a similar editor to KSP you will not be disappointed. I have been part of the tests for a few iterations of this game and have seen it grow a ton over the years. Yes, it still needs tons of work but the heart and soul is there and it is still quite satisfying. The addition of the various types of craft (ground, water, and air) really fleshes out what you can do within the game. Multiplayer is great for showing off what you can build to others, and there is an ability to create custom game modes for your server.

I would say that if you're looking for a fully polished experience, this is not it, and do not expect it to be if you are purchasing in early access. What it does provide is a well thought out editor, and fun flight model that will bring you back over and over. If you do purchase it, join their discord and help guide the team to 1.0.

New storyline as to how Batman Dies and is not a continuation of the amazing franchise.

Game is super clunky, combat is slow, controls are janky, the frame drops and terrible performance put the nail in the coffin for me. Not worth $60 or heck $80 with the deluxe package. Wait for a sale long into the future and don't pay more than $20 for it.

Balsa is a gateway drug for Model R/C flight. When I first tried Balsa, I was hooked right away. I was a huge player of KSP, and in the twilight of playing that game, all I would do is make airplanes instead of rockets. Balsa scratched the itch with something new and exciting. A thoughtfully designed workshop with build tools that were very familiar to me right from the get go really helped with getting planes off the ground. Having spent my formative years flying small R/C hobby shop planes, Balsa really opened that world back up to me and reinvigorated my interest in model flight.

Balsa comes with multiplayer out of the box, and I will say building and showing off your crazy creations is half the fun, the other half is crashing and burning in front of your peers.

All in all, if you like building and engineering you will ADORE Balsa!

I hate fetch missions....this game made me love fetch missions...

This is a great buy, if it were on sale for 4.99....if you pay anything more than that youre a sucker just like I am. Game feels super empty towards the end, I did everything you could in the game, and it still only took 9 hours, most of that was just being super lost within the maze. Held my attention for a little bit but after the first hour you pretty much see everything the game has to offer. Side Thumb, 6/10
