98 Hours played
Okay, so when this game launched... it was a bit of a mess. I left a negative review. After a few months, I changed to a MOSTLY positive review. Now, with 94 hours on record, I'm back to leave a 100% positive review.

This is easily my favorite game on Steam currently. It's been a while since I've sunk this many hours into a single player game. As a big lover of D&D... this is perhaps the closest a game has come to capturing that feeling for me. Sure, BG3 has the license and dice rolling... but I think FTKII manages to capture the goofiness, frustration, and fun that I've experienced with TTRPG.

The Devs haven't abandoned it... in fact, they're quite active with the ongoing development. They recently added the option to save character presets... which, as minor as it may seem, is such a game changer. I tend to run the same party frequently... so this has saved me a bunch of time. Speaking of characters, I like that you choose between Hobos and Friars... it really sets the tone for the game. This isn't super cereal D&D... and that's okay.

I honestly love the look of the characters. The ragdoll effects, when you hit an enemy with enough force, is always hilarious. And the amount of customization is insane. Seldom have I had my characters end a campaign looking the exact same as they did in a previously completed run.

I've ran into a few bugs here and there; the details of a tile doesn't load, the water clips through land tile, characters lose their textures... but honestly none of these have effected my gameplay or enjoyment. And since a lot of the launch bugs have been dealt with... I'll trust the Devs to iron out the remaining kinks.

TL;DR
For me, it really is a game that just keeps on giving. I mean... they've got both clowns AND pirates.
