amazing game, genuinely did not expect the game to be this good

half of the dlc is empty. some stuff of the base game is re-used. contains one of the worst fromsoftware bosses i have ever played. is not worth the price tag. dragon bosses have copy pasted animations and music, and are pasted everywhere in the dlc. enemies are copy pasted in the dlc. the bird enemy is literally everywhere. i had 99 vigor and other health bonusses, and there still get one shotted. The new leveling system is worthless, as it barely does anything. only the 'main story' part of the dlc has some stuff, and the rest is just scenery. It feels like they originally intended this to be linear, and then quickly added some stuff to the overworld. There is an entire region dedicated to stealth (in a souls game??). Like you CANNOT attack the enemies there and torrent cannot be summoned there.

The entire dlc feels pointless. There is no opening cutscene introducing you to whatever your goal is. The final cutscene is a flashback to whatever miquella said three times already. And instead of burning the scadutree to unlock the final area, you melt a little rotten tree after one of the worst designed fromsoft bosses. Why is the scadutree a scenery piece? Why not use it for the story? Also, the second phase of the final boss is just a faith nuke spam. Messmer and rellana were the only bosses which i had actual fun with. Rellana reminds me of pontiff sulyvahn. Messmer’s moveset was hard to read, which is the sort of souls challenge that i wanted. But his second phase sucks as he just spams his snake transform attack. The divine lion just feels ♥♥♥♥♥♥ to fight, although his OST was the best in the dlc. And why is miyazaki so obsessed with gay inc€st that he had to implement it into elden ring twice?

Anyways, I expected more of this dlc

love this game so much i was able to platinum it in 14 hours lmao (this is the second platinum i have on this game)

terrible at launch, but is a lot of fun now. thankfully the mods make the game a lot better
