anyways, without further ado;
PC
*Minecraft
Childhood was mainly xbox version, nowadays is all PC (Java). Although I did use bedrock recently for a little bit just to play with a friend.
I.RULE
is a Plants vs Zombies style tower defense game using the theme and characters of the Binding of Isaac. Very fun and surprisingly well-made. If you're a fan of either of those games, do try it out!
PvZ Reflourished & AltverZ
PvZ2 has a lot of 'mods' that basically function as complete fangames. I played a little bit of both mentioned, but havent come back to them in a while, would probably need to figure out how to update them.
Swords & Souls
Flash game I played a crap ton of as a kid. I liked it a lot as a kid; although if im remembering it correctly, i dont think its the kind of game i'd like now. They made a sequel in 2019 though so I might try that at some point.
CONSOLE
*Garden Warfare 2
(I have it on both playstation and xbox, but my playstation data was corrupted and deleted so now I mainly play and have the most progress on xbox) ( Garden Warfare 1 & Neighborville too but I rarely play those) The only tolerable PvP competitive shooter (to me). E-Cap and Pop-A will never be forgiven. I love PvZ in general.
OG Plants vs Zombies
(Xbox) Replayed it once about a year ago just to take a trip down memory lane, was the first time since years, played it the most in my early childhood, a lot with my brother.
Ori and the Blind Forest
(Xbox) (was planning to finish it but I stopped and havent come back yet, still wanna finish it and play will of wisps.)
Spyro Reignited Trilogy
(Xbox) - Finished the first game, maybe a third through the second? Havent played it in a while, will get around to finishing it eventually.
Skylanders (Franchise)
(Xbox) Played this A LOT with my brother in my childhood. I played a lot of the rock dragon that rolls around, and either me or my brother also played a lot of the skeleton dude that goes "No pain no gain!"
*Elden Ring & Shadow of the Erdtree
(Playstation), Around 591 hours, got all trophies, a total of 3 playthroughs, I'll eventually get around to doing one last playthrough before prioritizing other games. Love the lore and the gargantuan weapon variety, the game hits almost all the right spots for me.
^Demon Souls.
(Playstation, Remastered) Im (slowly) working on going through all the soulsborne games by release date. Playing this game makes me realize how far fromsoft has come. But its still quite fun!
Shadow of Mordor
(Playstation) Decided to play through this and Shadow of War because of how much I love TearofGrace's videos, streams, and series on the game. It always seemed like a lot of fun to play, and it is! And I absolutely despise that the nemesis system is patented! Lame!
MOBILE
Most of these I barely play anymore, if at all.
*Dragonvale
(I like dragons. This game has lots of dragons.) I dont play it as much anymore because im tired of catching up with the events. But its still a very memorable game to me that I probably get a lot of subconscious inspiration from.
^*The Battle Cats
(I like cats. This game has lots of cats.) Also the least "mobile-game-esque" mobile game imo. besides your genshins and star rails and what have you. Out of all mobile-exclusive games I play this is the one i'd recommend the most. Interestingly, its a tower-defense game that doesnt feel like a tower defense, which I like.
*Botworld Adventure.
(Copy and paste what I said about battle cats onto here.) I like the auto-battler spin on the typical monster collector games. I should probably play more monster collectors.... (i dont care for actual pokemon games, I just like seeing the new 'mon designs, and occasionally watching people play)
Idle Apocalypse & Necromerger (separate games)
These games are basically looking at the current popular mobile game copy & pastes (respectively, idles/clickers and those games where you merge objects to make bigger things) and then thinking "what if they were actually good, fun, well-made, and didn't need you to spend hundreds of dollars to progress?" Also I like that the newest game the developer makes references previous games, even ties in their silly story with it. Very based, I have a good amount of respect for this developer.
PvZ Heroes
Havent played in a fair bit, but its very fun, albeit insanely unbalanced. I think the plants are more fun. Chompzilla my beloved...
Vampire Survivors (Mobile Port)
Yes its on mobile, yes its entirely free, yes that includes the entire base game, yes its just as fun as on pc, and yes you should get it.
Crash Fever
The english version of this game is dead. Like, literally they shut down the servers. The japanese version is still going but i've yet to play it and probably won't. Very cool character designs (the only reason I played it besides the music). Strange and awkward balancing though, insanely easy most of the time, insanely hard all the other times (although maybe thats just because of the insane collab bonuses you can get thats throwing a wrench into the balance). BANGER MUSIC THOUGH!
Puzzles & Dragons
Basically Crash Fever except its Bejeweled instead of whatever game Crash Fever is based on. Also the english servers arent dead. Not as many dragons as i'd hope. Although it doesn't have as many dragons as I'd hope, mostly just anime girls, which is kinda lame. Music's also good but usually doesn't hit the same as Crash Fever.
Chain Reaction Catalyst
Simple little game about shapes that destroy other shapes each in a unique way, the goal being to destroy all shapes in every level. Fairly memorable despite its simplicity.
CUE / Cards, The Universe, and Everything
A card game with no theme. You'll open a pack, and get cards for the concept of color, Marie Curie, a mythical creature you've never heard of, and a local Pizza Shop. And they're all based on real-world ideas, events, facts, history, and beliefs; even including the "lore" of card's "character" on the back. I read and gain new info more often than I actually play the game, and I still don't know whether that's intentional, considering how many freebies they give out.
