In this uncertain state we call “existence”, humanity has constantly strived to answer the great questions which our over-evolved frontal lobes have spawned. Despite millennia of people asking, the human race has consistently produced different answers from different people at different times and places, but the truth lay in the power of belief. You may have heard of the placebo effect, but the power of belief is not limited to mere psychological gaslighting, for the power of belief is what drives humanity forward, why we have consistently advanced and pushed forward despite meeting with horrors beyond comprehension. There is no meaning to life — for the meaning of life is not a single thing, but a collective consciousness of a species, built and molded by the experiences you’ve lived through and the people you’ve spent your life around. Every person, no matter how similar, has a unique and irreconciliable interpretative bias towards the world, and as such, there is no one way to interpret the world. The view is unique to you, for it will change depending on how you choose — both consciously and unconsciously — to view it. There is no meaning to life, for the meaning of life is that which you choose to empower it with. Find your own path. Make your own destiny. Do not go quietly into that good night, for the will of humanity has always been to fight against that looming darkness. Even if the universe we inhabit turns out to be cold and uncaring, it matters not — for the human spirit is indomitable in its potency, and each and every one of is infused with that spirit — for we are all human.
