A game that captures that all you need is a fun art style and a solid gameplay loop even if on paper it's basic to make a unique, refreshing experience. Buy it, play it with some friends, or some randoms, you'll have a blast

This game is quite fun. It's definitely a game that if you pick up, stream it or play it with some friends to both enjoy and laugh along the way. But lets get into something right away? Is this a good 60 dollar game?
No

Is this a good 25-35 ish dollar experience?
Absolutely.

It's weird to describe but as far as a choose your own adventure game. It sorta fails miserably in that regard.

This is due to the fact that ultimately. The paths and sequences you take are entirely linear. X amount of characters always make their way to the lodge. X the two same people go to a scrapyard. Essentially every location you see on a video is every single possible location you can go to. there are Zero Choices that change the direction of the characters. All of them will go to the same locations and have same ish sequences. The main difference is if X and X guy or gal is alive during it.

However, the direction in where the game starts to change a lot as a choice game. Is Who lives and who dies. That's where all the choices start to matter as they directly dictate who'll see the light of day.

Ultimately it means your expectation of this game shouldn't be a big overarching adventure but rather a choice game of what's the "Correct choice" To keep X and X character alive. While it's quite limiting that there are no new sequences or locations once you've gone through the game, it's at least still interested seeing how, where and why someone could die in their respective locations and choices there.

Although this game has a lot of possible endings. Sadly the lack of so much as a wall of text of the aftermath of the events aside from a In game podcast called "bizarre yet bonofide" That mainly only talks the headline which is determined by whenever you had multiple counselors survive, only one or managed to kill every single soul. Even then, they only spend that time talking about "Evidence" you have collected during your time in the quarry rather than talk about what happened to each character. This fact makes it incredibly underwhelming if your someone from Until dawn where you enjoyed the aftergame interviews of what they thought felt and happened to them after the whole game.

So overall, the ending can come across as quite underwhelming as it's entirely speculative what happens or how they felt about everything after the events of the summercamp.

But overall, despite the lack of real branching paths, especially with even one choice in the game being Taking the rotor arm of the car. Which you can lose at some point but get the chance to recover. Which said character can then be captured but if you save him once again... The rotor arm ultimately means ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nothing as it's never used or brought up again. And instead taking the rotor arm only allows you to earn one piece of evidence and that's it There being choices like that that ultimately mean nothing or very little. There's enough big ones that this isn't a game you should sleep on.

Temper expectations and correctly line up the price tag.

If you get this game for 60 dollars. Expect disappointment

You pick it up for 25-35. maybe even 40 It's going to be quite the fun blast. Double so with a friend(s) watching.

The characters are interesting and quite funny at times. Just enough level of teen annoyance and genuinely good interest that it's not overstepping it's toes.

A game worth getting for the right price for sure.

Un-ironically a must have in the VR space.

Regardless whenever you like the concept of FNAF or not. the amount of content you get for 30 dollars and fun experience you have sharescreening this to some friends and going through all the games is absolutely amazing. Recommend this wholeheartedly to anyone who wants an awesome, scary-somewhat scary and funny VR experience.

It's got it's horror, it's got it's entertainment. Very good

I really want to like this game i really do. When i first bought and finished the first chapter, i seriously was getting into the game. then my first bug happened. I destroyed some boards and BOOM. Unreal engine crashed to desktop. It completely ruined my vibe but i gave it another go. This time having to conciously be aware of the boards as to not crash again. ONce that was over i continued with the game, experiencing multiple bugs along the way that really made the experiencing unbearable till finally i reached the clowns. And all of them were broken, unable to move making the level a breeze and that's when i finally stopped.

This game is pretty fun but the sheer amount of game breaking bugs make it an absolute chore to play, and I'm simply not going to continue beyond the clown chapter till fixes come as i don't even want to have my experienced ruined by them.

Developer, please look at this thread for all of the bugs, it has every single bug i have encountered listed on here.

And for reference. My pc is anything but Low end.
I have a
CPU Brand: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Eight-Core Processor 3.7 GH
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER 6 gigs
With 32 gigs of ram.

And the game is installed on an SDD. My pc is more than up to the task to run high end games and can run things such as Star-citizen, Battlefield 4 at 1080p 120 fps and so on. So my pc being garbage is ruled out. Please take a look at the thread and address these issues. they happen immediately and completely ruin a new players experience like it did for me.
