This is the sequel to Ender Lilies, and it definitely lives up to the hype for me.
Everything is a solid upgrade from the older game. Music, art direction, story and characters, combat, the level environments, they're all so well done and beautiful.

For the most part as well, the difficulty is just right. It does feel like there is minor tweaks to balancing needed, but they don't hinder the enjoyment much (for me). I think the biggest flaw with the game's combat is the lack of i-frames you have. depending on where you get hit and how, you could die in less than a second because you took like 3-5 hits within a few frames. Otherwise, i have no personal qualms.

If you like Metroidvanias and especially loved Ender Lilies, get this game immeidately!

What the hell am I even playing and why do I want to keep playing

I went into this game not expecting to care for it much, not being an avid D&D fan, but I got completely soaked in within the first 2 hours, now I've beaten my first run after 125 hours, and have ideas for multiple playthroughs....

An overall excellent game. If you enjoy FromSoft games, especially Bloodborne, this is worth it. It's difficulty is just right, neither frustratingly hard nor especially easy, and only a couple collectibles are missable when not counting Ending-Exclusive ones.

Not to mention its absolutely beautiful steampunk/victorian aesthetic. In the end, this game filled that itch that Bloodborne left behind.

I bought it because of the Hololive fan mod and dont regret it. 10/10 blast

Absolutely beautiful experience from start to finish.
Stellar art direction, lovely music, amazing combat..
The story told thru items, environment, scenes, is lovely.
It is difficulty in just the right amount. Not too easy, not insanely hard, and completing it to 100% is quite simple thanks to the map, although there may be a tricky item or two.
Easily one of the top indie metroidvanias out there currently, I sit it up there with Hollow Knight for my favorites at this point.

If you played DMC5 first before this, the noticable lack of polish in story, boss, and area designs may be a big turnoff. But so long as you love DMCs combat, after 1-2 playthrus you really start to get a feel for things and the combat shines so well it MOSTLY makes up for it's shortcomings
