10/10 thumbs in my ass

Oh where do I start? At first I bought the game on sale to mess around with some friends. Out of the four of them, I've only played with one, and that was over a year after I bought the game. I didn't play it much as first, but then my other friend bought it and we played a lot.

I recommend two things. A controller, and at least one friend to play with. It doesn't have to be an irl friend. It could be the creepy old dude that acts like a 16 year old boy online. Just find someone to play with. Trust me, it'll make the game 10x more enjoyable.

EDIT: After 810 hours I finally reached Champ and I hate everything about this game. Still highly recommend.

Played it for 5 minutes, got 60 achievements and a trading card. Here are my thoughts.

Spawned in, ran into a building, and got burned to a crisp by a Nazi flamethrower. 10/10

I spent $30 on sale for this game. I only played 8 hours of it. 6.5 of those hours were me running.

On the bright side, this game made me learn how to read Russian. Seriously. 3/10.

I've been playing Rust since around 2014, a year after I got the game. It was a few months after Legacy, so I didn't experience it unfortunately. The early blueprint system was good, but it wasn't the best. People on /r/playrust used to, and probably still, complain about blueprints being removed. The XP system was a tragedy, and I found myself playing on one or two modded servers to get XP faster. They replaced it with components, which wasn't perfect but it was decent. And now, we have the component + research system with scrap. It's also not perfect, but I think it's good enough to make it to the actual release, which should be coming within the next 5 years or so. Seriously, early access since 2013?

The game's good though. I recommend getting a friend or two, maybe more, to play with you. Especially on higher populated servers, where there are a lot of large clans. It's worth the $20, and REALLY worth the $10 when it's on sale. Early game is slow, but once you progress the game gets a lot more fun.

Who needs Infinite Warfare when you have the same thing in Moonbase Alpha?

I said kurwa a record of 35 times in 0.2 hours of playtime as of writing this review. My Polish family is proud.

Played 3 games as Poland. All 3 started in South America. 10/10 geographical accuracy.
