🎮 Introduction

After countless hours in *New World*, I’ve explored Aeternum’s mysteries, immersing myself in PvP, crafting, and expeditions. Developed by Amazon Games, New World offers a unique MMORPG experience with tactical combat and a resource-driven economy.

🌍 Game Overview

New World transports players to Aeternum, a supernatural island filled with magic and resources. Since its release in 2021, New World has grown through regular updates, balancing both PvE and PvP content. It’s an ideal game for explorers and warriors alike.

⚔️ Combat and Weapons

Combat in New World is real-time and skill-based. With choices ranging from Life Staffs to Hatchets and Great Axes, there’s deep strategy and flexibility in every encounter.

🏠 Factions and Territory Wars

Players align with one of three factions—Marauders, Syndicate, or Covenant. These factions battle for control of territories, providing resource perks to members in conquered regions. Companies (guilds) organize these wars, making Aeternum’s political landscape player-driven.

🔨 Crafting and Gathering

Resource gathering and crafting are core to New World. With professions like Armoring and Cooking, the player-driven economy makes crafting both engaging and rewarding.

💎 PvE Content and Expeditions

Expeditions (dungeons) mix combat, puzzles, and teamwork. Dynamic events like corrupted portals add PvE elements, though the game leans largely toward PvP. PvE content is, however, regularly updated.

💳 Microtransactions

New World offers a cosmetic-only in-game shop, selling skins and housing items. No pay-to-win items are available, ensuring balanced gameplay.

👍 Pros

Skill-Based Combat – Real-time combat with diverse weapons
Faction Wars – Territory battles with real-world impact
In-Depth Crafting – Rewarding, player-driven economy
Cosmetic Microtransactions Only – Fair, balanced gameplay
Challenging PvE – Unique expeditions and puzzle elements

❌ Cons

PvE Content Limited – Game is PvP-focused
Grind-Heavy – Time-intensive leveling and crafting
Server Queue Issues – Popular servers can have long waits
High System Requirements – Requires good hardware for smooth gameplay

🎓 Final Thoughts

New World brings a fresh perspective to MMORPGs with skill-based combat, faction wars, and an immersive crafting system. Though PvE content may feel secondary, New World offers hours of adventure for players who enjoy PvP and resource-driven gameplay. If you’re after a world where players shape the land, New World is well worth exploring.

🎮 Introduction
I have been playing Runescape for a total of over 10,000 hours in the last 10 years. This game is incredibly enjoyable and offers so much more than other MMORPGs. Now, let's get on with the review.

🌍 Runescape
Runescape, created by Jagex, has been a staple in the gaming world since 2001. The original version, now known as Runescape Classic, is no longer available. Players can dive into either Runescape 3 or Old School Runescape (OSRS), both boasting stable and high player bases. This review focuses primarily on Runescape 3, though I enjoy playing both versions due to their distinct content and experiences.

🔥 Runescape 3 / RS3
RS3, continually updated since 2003, features an ability-based combat system, more akin to other modern MMOs. In my view, this version is more beginner-friendly, heavily focusing on PVM with less active PVP due to the new combat system. RS3 also includes microtransactions, which I'll cover later in the review.

⚔️ Old School Runescape / OSRS
OSRS, a legacy version of Runescape 3, was launched in 2013 from a 2007 backup. It's especially nostalgic for many players. OSRS differs significantly in its combat system, lacking abilities and focusing more on straightforward attacks with some special weapon attacks. PVP remains very active in OSRS. Bonds in OSRS can be exchanged for membership and are purchasable with real money or in-game currency.

🛡️ Membership
Runescape offers a free-to-play experience, but full content access requires membership, available for about $8-9 a month. Membership can also be obtained through in-game bond purchases. A single membership covers both Runescape 3 and OSRS.

💎 Bonds
Bonds, purchasable with real money or in-game currency, can be exchanged for membership, unlocking all content without real-world spending. They can also be used for runecoins in the 'Solomon Store' for cosmetics, bank slots, pets, etc. I don't view this as pay-to-win, though some functional items like bank slots and legendary pets offer minor gameplay advantages.

🌟 Skills
Runescape boasts 28 different skills, each levelable separately. Maxing a skill at 200m experience secures a hiscores spot. Achieving level 99 or 120 in skills grants 'Cape of accomplishment' or 'Master cape of accomplishment,' respectively. Your 'Combat level' increases as you level combat-related skills like magic, range, prayer, and summoning.

⚔️ Combat Styles
Runescape doesn't constrain players to a specific class. Instead, it offers various combat styles: melee (close-range combat), magic (distance-based spellcasting), and ranged (distance-based archery). Monsters have specific weaknesses, and combat revolves around using abilities, which increase with your level.

🗺️ Quests
Runescape's quests differ significantly from typical MMO fare, offering story-driven, varied experiences rather than simple fetch or kill tasks. Completing quests yields points and rewards, with a 'Quest cape' available upon completing all quests.

👤 Ironman / Ironwoman
This mode offers a fresh experience, even for veterans, by prohibiting trade with others. Players must be self-sufficient, crafting or earning their own equipment. It's a mode I particularly enjoy but recommend mainly to those already familiar with Runescape.

💀 Hardcore Ironman / Ironwoman Mode
Similar to the standard Ironman modes, but with only one life. Certain 'safe deaths' don't affect hardcore status, and a 'jar of divine light' converts your account to a normal ironman/woman upon depleting lives.

💳 Microtransactions
RS3 includes microtransactions, but I don't view them as overtly pay-to-win. They can expedite progress in hiscores but are not essential, especially in the Ironman/Ironwoman mode where they're disabled.

👍 Pros
📚 Diverse Skills: 28 different skills offering a variety of gameplay experiences.
🗺️ Extensive Quests: Over 227 quests, each with unique storylines and challenges.
🎵 Rich Music: A large track list that enhances the gaming atmosphere.
🏅 Achievement System: Unique tasks with rewarding achievement diaries.
🛡️ Engaging Raids: Challenging raids and minigames for dynamic gameplay.
🌍 Multiple Worlds: Less crowding and more exploration options.
🏡 Player-Owned Features: Farms and houses for personalized space.
🐉 Challenging Dungeons: Exciting dungeons and bosses for skill testing.
🎥 Plenty of Guides: Abundant YouTube guides for easy learning.
📱 Versatile Interface: Customizable and mobile-friendly gaming interface.
💰 Expansive Banking: Large and expandable banking system for item management.
💎 Bonds System: In-game benefits accessible through bonds.
👥 Clan Community: Clans and citadels for communal play and support.
🔨 Self-Sufficient Modes: Ironman/Ironwoman modes for independent gameplay.
🚀 Open Class System: Freedom to choose any class, ensuring diverse gameplay.
📢 Regular Updates: Consistent game updates and a plethora of cosmetics.
🌐 Vast World: Large, accessible world even on low-spec devices.
🌟 High-Quality Graphics: Visually impressive graphics enhancing player immersion.

❌ Cons
💳 Microtransactions: The game includes microtransactions which may affect gameplay.
⏳ Grindy Elements: Some gameplay aspects can feel repetitive and grindy.
🎮 Declining Minigames: Minigames and PVP sections less active than before.
🏁 Challenging Events: Keeping up with events can be demanding and time-consuming.
🤯 Overwhelming for Newcomers: The game's vastness can be daunting for first-time players.

🎓 Conclusion
Runescape offers an expansive world with thousands of hours of gameplay. It's a game that everyone should try to see if it suits them. The game can be overwhelming for newcomers, but there's a helpful community and plenty of online resources. It's also great for group play, like bossing, raiding, and questing together.

🎮 Introduction
First of all, I would recommend playing it for yourself. The game is free to play, so just give it a go! Riders of Icarus is an MMO that has a lot of taming in the game. You have the possibility to tame a wide variety of animals/creatures. You can use them as familiars (ride or fly on them) or as a pet to fight by your side.

✅ Pros
🆓 Free to Play: No cost to start playing.
🐾 Diverse Familiars/Pets: A wide range of creatures to tame.
🎨 Impressive Graphics: The game boasts very nice visuals.
👤 Easy Character Creation: Simplified process to get started.
🛡️ Aerial Combat: Unique combat while flying on mounts.
🎣 Fishing Options: Both AFK and active fishing available.
🌿 Gathering Activities: Collect various ores, plants, etc., around the map.
📜 Abundant Quests: Plenty of quests to undertake.
🔄 Repeatable Quests: Quests that can be completed multiple times.
🏆 Rewarding Achievements: Achievements with nice rewards, including daily, weekly, and monthly challenges.
🎁 Earnable In-Game Items: Ability to obtain some store items through gameplay.
🛠️ Ongoing Development: Developers are actively working on the game.
🎉 Regular Events: Events to keep the gameplay fresh.

❌ Cons
💸 Rigid Market System: Only allows buying items in bulk, not specific amounts.
👥 Limited Player Base: Not a lot of active players.
⏳ Long Loading Screens: Loading times can be lengthy for dungeons or new regions.
🕒 Slow Game Startup: Takes a while to start the game.
🛍️ Temporary Items in Store: Many items in the money shop are temporary.

Overall, Riders of Icarus is an enjoyable MMO to play. There is a lot to do, from completing familiar collections to defeating various bosses and undertaking numerous quests.

I'm having a fun time playing myself and would recommend everyone to try and see if it's a game for you. You can have a great time in this game!

Early Access Review
🎮 Introduction
First of all, I recommend playing it yourself to try it out and see if it's a game for you.
Don't hate, this is my opinion of the game in its current state. I understand it's still in beta, but I think it could be better than this for a beta version.

✅ Pros
🆓 Free to Play: No cost to start playing.
🎨 Character Creation: Similar to other Artix Entertainment games.
👁️ Third-Person Perspective: Offers a third-person view.
💾 Game Size: Relatively small at 54 MB.
🖼️ Decent Graphics: Graphics are reasonably good.
🔁 Familiar NPCs/Monsters: Shares elements with other Artix games.
👥 Multiplayer Fix: Issues with joining friends have been resolved.
📱 Mobile Playability: Can be played on a phone.
🛠️ Active Development: Developers are continuously working on the game.
🌍 Teleport/Travel System: Convenient in-game movement.

❌ Cons
📱 Mobile-First Design: PC version suffers due to mobile focus.
⏳ Delayed Releases: Hyped release dates often pushed back.
🎵 Poor Music: The soundtrack is not impressive.
⚔️ Limited Combat System: Combat mechanics are restrictive.
🏆 No Achievements: Lacks Steam achievements.
👥 Co-op Dependency: Requires friends for initial survival.
🔄 Repetitive Quests: Many quests involve killing the same mobs repeatedly.

🔄 Changes - 11-12-2016
💻 PC Interface Added: Enhancements to the PC gameplay experience.
⚙️ Expanded Options: Including keybinds, mouse speed, and user-settable field of view for more customized control.

I would like to see a dedicated PC version of this game with significant improvements. While it's nice to have mobile compatibility, the PC version should be superior to the Android/iOS versions.

This game has potential, but it needs a lot of fixes and improvements.
